Let check from latest Africa Wealth Report 2021
The AfrAsia Bank Africa Wealth Report 2021
In collaboration with New World Wealth, we bring you the 2021 Africa Wealth Report which provides a comprehensive review of the wealth sector in Africa, including luxury and wealth management trends along with the impact of the coronavirus on the continent.

Key findings:

Total private wealth held in Africa amounts to approximately USD 2.0 trillion as at December 2020.

The “Big 5” wealth markets in Africa are: South Africa, Egypt, Nigeria, Morocco and Kenya – together these five countries account for over 50% of Africa’s total wealth.

Mauritius remains the wealthiest country in Africa, in terms of wealth per capita. Notably, the World Bank officially classified Mauritius as a high-income country in July 2020.

The COVID-19 pandemic had a severe impact on private wealth and HNWI levels in Africa which have dropped by around 9% in 2020.

Total private wealth held in Africa is expected to rise by 30% reaching USD 2.6 trillion by 2030. This growth will be driven by strong growth in the billionaire and centi-millionaires segments, especially in fast growing economies such as Ethiopia, Mauritius, Rwanda, Kenya and Uganda.

Look like the gap btw Nigeria and Kenya - in number of rich - is almost gone. Nigeria still has more than double kenya wealth. This good indicator for NIgeria GDP - overcooked. Every indicator I have seen - they should be about 2 times kenya

Per capita and etc - kenya is on steroids

South Africa has lost 25 percent of it's wealth in a decade; if they continue this way; nothing suggests; they won't; they will lose another 25 percent this decade.

As for Nigeria - pray for oil

That's just a plain dumb question .

How many billionaires does Botswana,Mauritius ,Seychelles and other smaller countries with far higher per capita incomes and HDI scores have? Why did you ignore the elephant in the room - 89m Nigerians live in extreme poverty with poverty numbers accelerating?

Botswana, Mauritius, and Seychelles are irrelevant on the world stage shoot there irrelevant on the regional African stage. Micro islands/states who rely totally on the tourism & finance. They operate virtually no industries, companies, or corporations of there own this they have zero power.

Seychelles and Mauritius are dominated by South Asians much like Kenya and Botswana is just a barren wasteland with a single tiny city which operates like a runaway South African province dominated by the South African businesses industry & economic grid.

Lagos state alone has more relevance than all 3 combined and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

Your last statement is just your own frustrated delusions conjured up by your insecurities and inferiority complex. Seek mental help.

The Nigerians imagine just because Dangote is eating their lunch; they are also full. When it come to millionaires - the giant is almost equal to kenya

you just love dancing around
The question was "how many billionaires" not "are billionaires evenly spread out in Nigeria?"
Okay? grin
Next time don't decieve yourself by dancing around
Or better still
Avoid arguing stuff that you obviously don't have the mental capacity to.
Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by Mkenya2019: 12:43pm On Aug 16, 2021
Kenya has 8,500 millionaires; Nigeria has 9300; that is inclusive of 4 billionaires. That is better indicator. Nigeria total wealth is about 200B; Kenya total wealth about 100B; That is even better indicator; Kenya wealth per capita is 1800 almost; Nigeria is about 1000. That mean average Kenyan is twice richer than a Nigerian.
