They can call you soon as vacancy is open regarding your profession..bt what I do is to get one of the staff number ad build friendship by calling time to time so that my file would not jus be a waste at suya spot as one of brother said above

Been there, send how HR do their thing.

If there's a vacancy you applied for, they first check those who are currently working with them if they got something related to the role you applying for to save em the time of going through the usual Q&A in an interview, the "salary negotiations" shenanigans, training and all.

If there's no one and you get called, good for you but like he said, best get something doing before you get called... After all, most people finance themselves with side hustles while waiting for the "dream job"
