That's why I used the words *too much*.

Watch the 3 videos again, you will notice that the Ghanaian video was clear and authentic. You could see the streets, trees, colours of buildings etc clearly.

They are all the same if you understand how editing works. Yours is more of hue and a little bit of contrast while ours is more of contrast and little saturation. It doesn't reduce anything either.

-But I hope the message is home cool

Kenya has a lot of private schools - especially at the primary level. Last I checked nearly 10,000. International school teaches international curriculum.
AfriqueDuZuid:
Ok 200k students

Its a display of lack of homegrown private schools, some of those you call international schools here they are mere private schools.

By the way provide a credible source claiming kenya is number one!

I guess your bosses have issues - how will that affect their West Africa colonies. Of countries here likely to go Lebanon way - Ghana will follow Zambia. Its component of commercial foreign loans is very dangerous. Kenya is okay - only a third of foreign loan is commercial - the rest are IMF/WB/ADB - those are low maturing low interest - and you can always talk nicely to these non-profit making development banks.

So yes countries should avoid loading lots of commercial foreign loan - like Ghana is doing.

It won't be first time for Ghana tough - hyperinflation is their second name. I believe the Cedis at some point was 15,000 to a dollar.

On their nomal day - it double-digit - pretty bad for many countries.

obaaderemi:
The Unraveling Of Lebanon's Economy
I have been studying the financial crisis going on in Lebanon for about two years. I've never seen anything like it. Lebanon was once touted as the Switzerland of the Middle East. In the 80s and 90s, the economy of Lebanon was roaring. The currency was stable, its banks were big and strong, skyscrapers went up (Lebanon has almost thirty buildings above 100m), tourist resorts went up. Some of their rich men even invested in Africa.
Unknown to many, the whole economy was drunk on foreign loans.

Today, the chicken has come home to roost.
The currency has collapsed at almost 8000 to the dollar. A family of five today in Lebanon would need about 3.5million Lira to eat in a month.

The country defaulted on its debt for the first time ever in 2020. Its romance with the IMF has undone it. Any hope that the country would come out of its problems early is fast fading away.
You should be grateful you are not Lebanese right now. How did it come to this for Lebanon?

Ghana has the ability to pay off it debts because we invested the monies in highly profitable ventures and our SWFs have huge funds

Your country Kenya is already defaulting ..... Kenya is most likely to go the Lebanon way

Can't you guys fix the seats in your stadium?

How do you expect people to sit on the bare concrete floor? not in this 21st century

More evidence of yet another hyperinflation loading

Kenya use 20 percent of revenues to pay interest rate - Ghana double that - 40 percent almost

This is unsustainable and has already led to more fiscal strain. Interest repayment is the highest expenditure portion and remains the fastest growth expenditure in sub-Saharan Africa’s fiscal budgets. For example Kenya, Angola, Egypt and Ghana are paying 20%, 25%, 33% and 37% of their collected tax revenue towards interest repayments.

Ghana debt to gdp -78 - kenya 66

Ghana and Egypt returned to the market, issuing a total of US$7 billion in the first half of 2021. Their debt-to-GDP ratios have now risen to 78% in Ghana and 90% in Egypt. Kenya also joined to issue US$1 billion, pushing its debt-to-GDP ratio to 66%.

Any debt-to-GDP ratio above 60% in developing countries is considered imprudent according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and African Monetary Co-operation Program’s threshold. Beyond the threshold, a country will be at high risk of debt default.

Bottomline: ur zoo is going the Lebanese way. No amount of self designed imaginations in some alternate universe can change that. Quit the daydreaming already.

We are spending 40% of tax revenue to service debt but we still have enough money to Carry out massive projects without borrowing....

Thats the power of an SWF
