Ghana has the ability to pay off it debts because we invested the monies in highly profitable ventures and our SWFs have huge funds

Your country Kenya is already defaulting ..... Kenya is most likely to go the Lebanon way
Sharp man! You got the message. grin
I was indicating that Kenya is likely to end up like Lebanon in the post. They are piling up debt and putting up conspicuous consumption projects just like Lebanon did.

Now Kenya is inching towards defaulting on its loans.

Bottomline: ur zoo is going the Lebanese way. No amount of self designed imaginations in some alternate universe can change that. Quit the daydreaming already.

Ghana debt to gdp -78 - kenya 66

Ghana and Egypt returned to the market, issuing a total of US$7 billion in the first half of 2021. Their debt-to-GDP ratios have now risen to 78% in Ghana and 90% in Egypt. Kenya also joined to issue US$1 billion, pushing its debt-to-GDP ratio to 66%.

Any debt-to-GDP ratio above 60% in developing countries is considered imprudent according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and African Monetary Co-operation Program’s threshold. Beyond the threshold, a country will be at high risk of debt default.
Who's been talking ISHYT about debt all this time ? Like I said these mofos have no code! Not that they're just slow which they are but lack honesty, honour and decency.

We are spending 40% of tax revenue to service debt but we still have enough money to Carry out massive projects without borrowing....

the Kenyans dont understand simple household economics ....

If you use borrowed money to feed your family, when the day of repayment comes, you will find yourself wanting like Kenya is. grin

Only if you dont understand economic

The reason why we have no defaulted on our debt like Kenya, is the fact that our Sovereign Wealth Funds have almost 20 billion dollars combine and the profit is used to service our debt.

Our taxes go into recurrent expenditure and expenditure funding comes from our SWF and that is why we have not borrowed to fund projects like Kenya have been doing....

Now laugh when you are in the long cue waiting to buy bread in Nairobi grin grin grin

Give ngara 3yrs and it will overtake Accra. Ngara is going to be the 5th kenyan CBD in 5yrs to come.

There is construction boom in that area, one of the grand project being 8, 34fls river estate towers which is currently on course.

The biggest irony of the year!

I'm actually viewing this lie laced with chest thumbings with 16 bail-outs in mind.

You're the grandchildren of IMF in africa and you're confidently peddling lies because you're under 1000, 000 hobbit's support who can still overhype your lie - save for vankelvin.

Funny enough, your country has been to the IMF more than Ghana

I know economics is hard for you, just find a KG kid to explain things to you...

Kenya is busy begging for debt relief with cup in hand while borrowing more to even pay salaries

IMF owns you. Don't try to fool around.

Ghana is the only renown country in Africa with poor borrowing habits. You don't have the discipline to borrow and now the IMF is helping you take care of the situation.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-01-30/ghana-seen-facing-discipline-test-as-imf-bailout-nears-end

You borrow alot but no development can be seen. Your people are eating rodents while loan is oozing out like blood in your country. Should we blame illiteracy level or we should just ignore the fact that your cash is going to individual's pockets?
