You have a problem with English comprehension or what. International Private Schools - 150 - with Nairobi metro boasting nearly 100 of them. Followed by Nakuru and Mombasa. Local Private Schools 10,000 Local Public schools 30,000 primary 10,000 secondary Local ECDE (Pre schools) - 45,000 Those are Kenya data - roughly speaking. obaaderemi: |

Obaboon, I doubt I made such a mistake - and If I did - I am human. I know you're scraping the bottom of the barrel looking desperately to resort to the usual ad-hominem after losing debate after debate. Let me be magnanimous today and say sorry - I mean private schools teaching local curriculum. Happy now? obaaderemi: |

rvp20182:Out of Nigeria's external debt 32 is commercial loan. It's much higher in Kenya where commercial loans are already 35% of your external debt. You can talk nicely to IMF but IMF will not talk nicely to you. They already told Uhuru to freeze workers pay and to cut funding to your universities. Your debt to GDP ratio is getting worse year after year. It's already above 60%. Then your Chinese loans are another problem. Of all the countries here Kenya is most likely the next Lebanon. Tea prices, remittances and tourism receipts are falling. |

Nigeria LONG passed Lebanon. Its debt to servicing ratio is 150 percent. It's budget minuscule. The gov is a total failure - it is almost in a state of collapse. Boko haram and Islamic cattle herders are killing and kidnapping at will. Poverty is endemic. Gov now borrows to pay salaries. Electricity is a luxury. That is Zoogeria - not different from ZOOmalia. Now let us talk about countries have semblance of functional gov like Kenya and Ghana. Kenya's external commercial debt is 35% of 50% - which is about 15 percent of total debt - which is roughly 7 percent of GDP. Our taxes revenues are growing - and our revenue to debt servicing is good - and so we do not have a serious problem. Kenya gov, unlike Nigerian gov, owns nearly 200 state corporations. Kenya gov own shares in many companies. If Kenya gov sold Safaricom shares - 35 percent of it - it will pay of it's debt in one go. Safaricom is now worth 18B dollars. Kenya gov owns 7B worth of shares therefore that is the entire commercial external debt. Telkom Kenya is owned 30 percent by GOK. Move to baking - KCB - the 2nd biggest bank - with total asset now of 10B dollars - recently dethroned - Kenya Gov (Treasury) - is largest shareholder at 20 percent. Move on to KENGEN - power generator - kenya gov owns 70 percent. Move on to many many companies - KENRE - name them - Kenya Treasury sits on 200 boards. To bring out the debt to GDP ratio back to 45 percent - we just need to start more privatizations and IPOS - like we did 10yrs ago. We stop borrowing and we sell many companies we own. obaaderemi: |

Obaboon, Kenya gov owns 280 operational State Corporations which are the Engine for driving Kenyan economy and achievement of Vision 2030. They range from alcohol to cement to name it; Kenya gov has shares in nearly everything in Kenya; and nearly any sector. Whenever GoK becomes really broke - we sell shares or do IPO. Some are loss-making like KQ - but others are super profitable like Safaricom/KCB For example- More Than 20 State Owned Corporations Set To Go Private More than 20 government firms are set to be privatized in an effort to raise funds for government projects. This is after the Privatization Commission approved the sale of 26 state-owned corporations. Energy The state-owned firms that the Govt could dispose of its controlling stakes include power producer Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen) which is 70 per cent government-owned, Kenya Pipeline Company, Kenya ports authority container deport in Eldoret, Kenya Ports Authority Development of Berths which are fully owned by the government at 100 per cent. Banking In the banking sector, the government is looking to sell its 22.5 per cent stake in National Bank of Kenya, 89.3 per cent stake in Development Bank of Kenya and stake allocated to other government corporation including a 50.2 per cent stake in consolidated Bank of Kenya Deposit Protection Fund as well as 48.8 per cent accounts in weak banks merged to form 48.8 per cent Consolidated Bank. Agricultural State-owned agricultural Corporation will see the highest number of privatized firms including the Agrochemical and food corporation (ADC), New Kenya creameries co-operative (KCC), Chemilil sugar, South Nyanza sugar, Nzoia sugar, Miwani sugar and Muhoroni Sugar companies. According to the privatization commission, the process is aimed at mobilizing resources for other investments as well as broadening of shareholder in the economy, improving efficiency in the delivery of services through mobilization of private sector financial and management resources. Other firms expected to be privatized include Numerical machinery complex, isolated Power stations, Kenya Wine Agencies, Kenya Meat Commission Kenya Safari Lodge, Sunset Hotel In Kisumu, Golf Hotel in Kakamega, Mount Elgon Lodge and Kabarnet Hotel. |

rvp20182:You are desperate. Can you please share any evidence to show that Nigeria's debt service is 150%?You are like Lebanon with your Government begging for debt rescheduling. You are as indebted as Nigeria though with a smaller population. IMF dictates to your government by giving you all kinds of stringent rules like an slowpoke kid. Your debt is already over 60% of GDP and debt service is also going up. Yet you are borrowing to pay debt. You are so stupid you don't know government can not just start offloading its shares in companies. It would lead to a panic and depress the values of the stocks. If your commercial loans are 35% of external loans of $40bn, then how can your government's $7bn in safaricom pay for that? 35% of 35bn$ is way above $7bn. Then the Chinese are breathing down your neck. And your deficit budgets, like Lebanon, keeps getting worse year after year than Nigeria's. You still don't see the correlation between you and Lebanon? You are not reading the tea leaves. You are about to default like Lebanon. |

African elites send their kids to schools in Europe, America and Canada in my school in England there are five children of Congolese millionaires and many more from other countries like Tanzania there's even 9 Kenyan students here who's parents are millionaires so this whole lie you're trying to produce is failing horribly |
