I am just here wandering, why is it difficult to become rich. Like on paper, when you do your analysis everything in the millions and you can even project billions after a few years but las las everybody is still complaining.

Why do you think it is so difficult to be rich especially in this part of the world.

I will love to read your opinion.

Everybody wants to be rich, but not everyone can hustle.
It takes hard work to be legit rich.

Then why the wheel barrow pushers in the market not rich? Are they not hardworking enough?

They’re working hard but not working smart.
Even a child knows pushing barrow can never make you rich.
At best, it can feed you for a day.

There was a guy on this forum that advised people then (either towards the end of last year or the beginning of this year) to buy and store palm oil, that prices will go up from June till...

Guess what? Prices of palm oil have gone up.
The measure (about 1.5ltr) that was formerly sold at #800 is now between #1,500 or more, and blessed are those who too the advice.

Mariah, I want to believe you took the advice. How many tonnes of palm oil did you store?

The thing there also is that I believe the most herculean task there is to start and to start you need somebody to help. How many people are willing to help now.

I didn’t! Painfully!

From where I am, you’d need someone reliable to buy and store the palm oil for you.
It benefits those based in the SE and SS more.

For someone to help/invest in you, you first have to prove that you’re reliable and trustworthy.
You have to start somewhere first.

I totally get you Ma'am but Nigerian investor are cut throat gluttons. I mean you want to invest in a venture and you are asking me for things I can't have. Like someone talking of 300k loan and asking for a collateral of #3M even after well analysis of how money will be recovered and it's not a new business o.

I think this cannot be solved as a whole. Every challenge is different.

So tell us how you pointed your millions and let's punch out where your error is.

I mean where you conceive an idea, draw out a business plan in how to achieve it and then there's still nobody to support that idea to fruition
