OBJ gave you the chance to type this trash through that your phone. Mobile telephony solved a lot of national problems. It's created thousands of jobs for the youths, legally and otherwise. OBJ is the only president since independence to receive any sitting American president on a state visit from Jimmy Carter, George Bush to Bill Clinton. He's the most respected African leader after Mandela. He's the chairman of world's ex-president. Hate him or not, OBJ solved a lot of problems for us. He has his many faults though but not like those nepotistic leaders that succeeded him.

We're not dumb or lazy or evil. It's for the very fact that we're hard working that we were best suited as slaves in plantations across the Americas. Before they came to ferry Africans as slaves across the ocean, Europeans already tried to use native Americans and fellow Europeans to no avail. They were lazy and not strong enough to handle the task.

Neither are we naturally dumb. I don't even want to talk about the past and what we created before white people because the evidence is right there in European and American museums in their own eyes. The evidence today that we're smart is that those of us privileged to participate in white education in their own universities do extremely well in their own eyes. We've heard of many Africans taking first class position in foreign universities ahead of white people. In their own language!!

Our problem is intellectual slavery. Our unfortunate contact with Europeans reduced our ingenuity and intelligence. It's right there in the book on my signature. We're functioning with a foreign language, foreign education, foreign God. Those three sets the precedent for everything else in life. Therefore, they're not supposed to be given to a people by a foreigner. Yes, you're right. And I have read your book as well. It's a great book.

Otem was mainly referring to intellectual laziness, and he uses the phrase "mental laziness" instead.

The average African isn't lazy physically, but mentally. And it's true that certain parts of Africa had also been great in the past.

Both your book and Otem's are saying the same things, but in different ways, though his own literature is a book of history.
