Normally training is 6 months in military and paramilitary.
But due to covid, some cut theirs to 3 months.

Let's wait and see how NCS will do theirs.

NIS training isn't 3months, generally there's always an induction training before special training, the first 3months is for induction, a training that opens all news to the job(it's an introductory). After the completion of this first 3month of induction training which is general for all Cadre, the junior cadre i.e (level 3 to 6) would go for additional 3months special training in their area of specialization and professions. You know someone who is being employed as a driver with another who is employed for general duty won't get the same training. (Level 3 to 6) are to go for a total of 6months training while the Superintendent Cadre will be trained for 9months(3months for induction and 6months for special training).

Same goes to all other paramilitary... NCS, NDLEA, NSCDC and others

Sorry bro but I never heard of Custom going for Induction
And also it's in the Budget the comptroller general went to defend around jan/feb
He clearly said #2000 for feeding of 3200 officers for six months in training

The N1.6 billion covers the recruitment and training, including feeding of the 3,200 people, which will last for six months.

“For example, the feeding of 3,200 people is estimated at N2,000 each per day – breakfast, lunch and dinner (N6.4 million/day and N192 million/month), which is about N1.152 billion for the 3,200 persons for the six months. So, you can see that even the training alone has taken the chunk of the money.

You will get to understand it at camp, if you had read and digested my previous post you should already Understand what induction means. Whether NIS demarcates 3months of induction from the other training, it will still sum up to 6months of training for junior cadre and 9months for senior Cadre.

Last recruitment Custom did 2011 they use their 6months in camp

I only hear induction in immigration and others in interior, but custom always go camp straight, I think Custom is more of military because look at the categories of people we are gonna be dealing with

Induction or no induction
