In the early hours of March 11, 2012 a US Soldier, Robert Bales, left his outpost. Wearing night vision goggles and military gear, he proceeded Alkozai, about half mile north from the outpost. He returned at about 1:30am and left again an hour later to Najiban one and a half mile south of the outpost.

By the time he returned he has successfully and without provocation murdered 16 Afghans.

In Alkozai, the US Soldier woke up a family and shot them one after the other. He was said to have dragged a woman out of her house and repeatedly hit her head against the war. Four members of the same family were killed there.

Then this "freedom fighter", Robert Bales, in Najiban shot one 55 years Muhammad Daud on the head, killing him. On getting to Abdul Samad's family house, he slaughtered 11 members of the family. According to eye witness "he dragged the boys by their hair and shot them in the mouth". The boys were 4 in number with age between 8 and 12. The 4 girls killed were between the ages of 2 and and 6. The eleven corpses from Abdul Samad Family were shot in the head, stabbed, then gathered into one room and set on fire.

Just so we are clear, Robert Bales, was an American. He wasn't Taliban.

Robert Bales is serving a life sentence today in the US for the crime of killing 16 Afghans in Afghanistan. The US refuse to hand him over to Afghanistan government for prosecution. Despite US Federal Laws permitting the death penalty, the bastard was given life imprisonment. Very soon, they will produce a movie about Bale's life on how he suffered child abuse at a young age. The names of the victims will not be mentioned. But today we are going to mention their names:

9. Masooma (daughter of Mohamed Wazir)
10. Farida (daughter of Mohamed Wazir)
11. Palwasha (daughter of Mohamed Wazir)
12. Nabia (daughter of Mohamed Wazir)
13. Esmatullah, age 16 (son of Mohamed Wazir)
14. Faizullah, age 9 (son of Mohamed Wazir)
15. Essa Mohamed (son of Mohamed Hussain)
16. Akhtar Mohamed (son of Murrad Ali)

Hate the Taliban if you like, but the US are not the good guys of the story.

As tragic and painful as this incident is America is not to blame for the actions of one man, but the particular psychopath who went on a killing spree. America as a country has plenty good people and Afghanistan too have very well behaved people, the problem is the US foreign policy that needs some ammendments.
