Only the camshaft needs replacement because the previous owner on driving it from Lagos to Ibadan forgot to close the radiator cap. which led to camshaft faulty. And it can be replaced with ₦100k(which already includes the mechanic's workmanship)

Except there are other problems. Cos toks camshaft for 2az is between 10 to 12k.

You have a point @DaSugarBoi, the mech mentioned that there's a metal/cylinderhead that also needs replacement in addition....his labour is 40k out of it too.

After that repair, its all sound as new.

2az(Camry 2.4 engine) overheated and spoilt not just gasket alone, but other parts, lols. The engine is gone patapata alaye!

Don't deceive anyone to buying hoping to only do 100k repair..
