In fact until I came to this forum; in 2014 and around when Nigeria was growing at 10 percent; and I had no idea how messed that it was; I was very proud of Nigeria; Until I stumbled on this forum on Nairobi City thread..and I was suprised by how NIgerians were suprised by how Nairobi looked developed. Obviously we have had years here to see just how hopeless the country really is.

I am personally very proud of africa countries making real progress like Rwanda, Botswana, and such. I use to think Ghana was in that list - but nah - it's a little Zambia - a cross breed of Zambia and Nigeria.

I believe most kenyans want nothing but a progressive Africa.

Electronics giant Samsung has "blocked" TVs that were stolen in South Africa during the unrest in July, rendering them unusable.

The company says it has an inbuilt “block function” on its TVs that can be used to remotely disable the sets.

The function is activated when a user of a stolen TV or one that has been acquired unlawfully connects to the internet, according to Samsung.

The system checks the identified TV’s serial number against the list on its servers before disabling its functionality.

South Africa had weeks of violent protests and looting last month that left more than 300 people dead and property worth billions of rands ransacked.

Some of the reportedly popular items that were stolen were smart TVs.

Therein lies the rub! As we examined the stats the depth of the dysfunction revealed itself these guys continuously doubled down on the BS. At first I thought it was just their poor education showing its ugly face but when the Ghanaians did the same I realised it was deeply rooted in the collective socioculture,itself rooted in extremely unfortunate history of selling human beings which warped the entire social fabric in ways still felt.
You see the same ishyt like witchcraft,human and child sacrifice,remnant slavery,contempt for human life itself,child sexualisation in West Africa,Brazil,Jamaica and Black America. Iow,this ishyt is in their sociocultural DNA;I don't see how things can change.

Kenya needs to do more. You need to export more as well to help your foreign exchange reserve. Exporting tea and coffee and relying on remittances can not help you. I wish your country well anyway.

You only exit recession after posting two consecutive quarterly growth. So maybe in Q1 of 2021 did Nigeria emerge from recession.

They are working hard to complete the University of Ghana stadium.

Cape Coast and Accra Stadiums are ready waiting for All African Games so it will be a big news should Ghana fail to host this tournament.
