we shall be having the Jackson black hole tapering news today it might cause dollar volatility, likewise Looking at the near-term outlook, much will depend on Friday's speech from the U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell.

Powell will address the Jackson Hole conference at 15:00 BST where he is expected to touch on the outlook for U.S. monetary policy and the outcome could set in place the trends for the following week.

Markets are wanting him to directly address the Fed's plans for reducing stimulus (tapering its quantitative easing), but as we have reported here, investors might come away disappointed as the Fed has over recent years tried to steer away from major policy issues at Jackson Hole.

Nevertheless, any surprises, or simple post-speech position unwinding, could shift the Dollar and the rest of the FX market, the Pound included.

A positive outcome for the Pound would see the Powell warn that the outlook for the U.S. economy has deteriorated somewhat over the course of the past month owing to the rise in Covid cases.

If investors believe the Fed is not ready to start tapering in November we could see global equity markets rise, taking the Pound up against the Dollar and Euro alongside.

But any commitment to a September taper could work against markets and the Pound.let's see which way traders

Just New York session and I try out some strategies I read about on the internet. Though the account balance I started with was $5k but it’s down to $3k. Not bad for someone that just started to trade the last two weeks of July. I hope to learn more even if the trades frustrates me at time and it looks like I don’t even know what I’m doing.

This week has ended with me only observing and making sure the plan remains.

For today's close USDCAD has completed the accumulation and is ready for wave 5, I'd like it to close above the accumulation box.
EURUSD is almost complete, I would look out on Monday for price reversal around 1.18433 to ride EU's fifth wave too..
GJ looks to return to 150.2** before the resumption of our bullish swing.

So far, my account profit status is still in the negative( nice one gold! ) but the account is not blown yet.

The aim is to see how fast I'll blow the 200usd account and also how much I'll grow it before the year's end

What do u call a trader with less than $200 that opened a position (entered a trade) using a signal generated in the monthly time frame without first switching to lower time frames?

If u see a set up on say daily or weekly don't enter the market immediately first switch to lower timeframe.

Firstly Understand the kind of trader u are. Are u a Scalper, daytrader or swing?

Be conscious of and Know the most profitable time/session (Newyork for me) of the day to trade.

Choose a particular pair and study it closely, u will discover a lot of hidden information/patterns that reoccur with 70-80% probability.

Money management know when to apply stop loss and take profit.

Keep drawing those lines.

If don't know ur technical and fundamental well enough, go to babypips for more enlightenment.
