The did had aleady been done, oil already used.... But don't mind draining and changing if otherwise

Toyota uses type V transmission oil..

It will drive fine for now. Give it some months.

Instead of saving for new transmission, why not drain the oil now and pour in the recommended oil into the system?

Owner is adamant that oando is better than fake type IV Toyota sold in tin can

He told me nothing go do the car...

2005 camry uses a 5 speed gear notoriously called 13 pin gear. Same gear used in the 2007 camry muscle. Please use the recommended trans oil, WS, not type iv. Gear is expensive

what's written on the dipstick? In my old Camry it says dexron II or III. And that's what I used till I sold the car

But the IV is an improvement on the previous ones, I think it's just longer lasting compared to III

Since it is not your car just move on. 13 pin (U250e) gear box no be beans to replace. Him go hear am

Some 2005 Camry uses Toyota type t-iv. Depends on the manufacturer's recommendation
