In between, it's not about fanciful office. For your own good never drink pipe born water in Lagos. They are not fit for drinking by animals.
Once rented a house is surulere, near Fasholas house before he became the then Governor. Apparrently, the so called water corporation disconnected the compound by using a machete to slash the pvc pipe entering the compound. So if you do not know, know it now that 90% of Lagos water distribution pipes lies inside those gutters you see all over the place. So after slashing the pipe, they left an opening for sewage to ozo into the pipe when they are not pumping water, when they start pumping water, they distribute the accumulated sewage to the whole neighbour hood as sparkling water. Me I did not stay there for one day.

It's not Lagos Water Coporation, but Lagos Sewage Corporation.

If you live in the almighty Lekki, from Agungi down to Chevron. Most of the houses do not have septic systems for sewage. Those that do, never repair it once it spoil due to the high water table. They all subsequently install a pump with filter, to pump their shit into the open drainage along the road. Then plant flowers to hide the discharge. So if you walk in those flood waters when it rains, just know you are swimming in sewage. If your house gets flooded when its rains, it's not flood water only but 30% somebody's sewage. Someone that has a big beautiful house. Never trust professionals that run portable water line through soggy drainage filled with green algae and human faeces.

stop giving excuses bro. Lagos state get more igr than most states put together yet it's still borrowing claiming it could service them. The roads are dilapidated, it's transport infrastructure is the worst in the world. Need I mention housing, security, power and water? For a state that enjoyed the privilege of capital city for decades and through the period of oil boom, generate tens of billions monthly, and still enjoys certain undue priviledges,you'll agree with me that it is one of the most poorly governed states in the country.
