Dear nairalanders, kindly help me with my gear issue. It engages and picks up fast but it's not selecting, speedometer and cruise not working as well. What could be the issue pls. Gear expert checked it and said no issue with gear that it's wiring issue. Electrician checked and said no issue with wiring. I need your help pls. The car is Nissan Altima 2000 model. Thank you.

Its wiring problem,as long as your rpm is not working the gear will not select

Please I need your advise.

My Nissan Altima 2005 2.5 S (Automatic transmission) kicks (boom sound) when it enters gear 2. Almost like shakes the engine, as if the engine seating is bad. I am trying to get the right English for it. After that, the following gear selections are smooth. It happens only on the first gear movement.

What could be the problem?
