Although the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo is exciting, the basic problem in this United squad is still unfixed. Even without CR7, SANCHO -CAVANI GREENWOOD can handle the attack (as rashford is still injured), and if Greenwood gets benched because of CR7, then it won't be good 4 d long term. The problem in United squad is the absence of a defensive midfielder that knows what he's doing (then McTominay can learn 4rm him), and it's too huge a problem. When everyone is fit, the forward should be rashford CR7 greenwood. Sancho can come in for Greenwood and cavani for Ronaldo or rashford.
