But before we start, let’s ask ourselves
What is a firmware:
A firmware means the OS (operating system) that the PS4 is running on. It can be checked by going to “settings”, “System”, then “system information”. A firmware installed on PS4 can wait her be from 1.0-8.03 from the time of this writing. Knowing what firmware your console runs on is very important, however one can’t ascertain what firmware a console is running on without turning on the console.

One of the most common mistakes buyers make is the fallacious idea that all PS4 be hacked, NOT all PS4 can be hacked. It depends on the firmware that it runs on, Any firmware higher than 7.55 can’t be hacked at the time of writing.

1. Why should I pick a hacked PS4 over a brand new PS4?:

For the Normal PS4, let’s assume you want to buy 10 game disks, and let’s also assume that all PS4 game disks sells at 5k each (which it isn’t, but for the sake of understanding better, let’s use this figure)

5k per game multiplied by 10 games = 5 x 10 50k
50k + the cost of the console (120k) = 50 + 120 =170k

And remember, on a normal console, you’re stuck with buying disks forever/ from PS store, you’ll eventually get tired of buying disks because of cost, we all do at a certain point

Now for the hacked console, you pay 145k for the hacked console and pay 0 naira of your 10 games which you get to choose by yourself!
This is mathematically represented as:

145k (for hacked console) + 10 games at 0 naira each = 145 + 0 = 145k
And once you’re done with the 10 games, you can always come back for more at 1k each crazy right?

Now you see what I meant by value now?

3. Can I still play disks on a hacked console:
of course you can, however be wary of the disks you put in the console, putting any PS4 disk game that was released after March 2020 would update the console and we won’t be able to hack it again until another hack is out, this is why we tell customers to not play disks at all, but if you promise us you’ll be careful, then sure, you can!

4. Can I browse the internet on a hacked PS4?:

As far as we can tell, the disadvantages is that, you can’t play online, and you shouldn’t play a game that requires a firmware that’s higher than the current hackable firmware, which at the time of writing is 7.55, doing so would update the console and we can’t hack it again until a new hack is out for the firmware that the PS4 has been updated to.

8. Is the hack Permanent, what if I wanna repent and start buying games or I decide I wanna play online?:
The hack isn’t permanent, it’s extremely easy to remove, like extremely easy, it can be done by either:
* Formatting the PS4.
* Updating the PS4 then deleting the games manually afterwards.
* If you no get data, no fear, just put a latest game on it and run it, that’s all, and delete the hacked games manually.

9. I just bought a brand new PS4, can I hack it?:
in truth, it’s very unlikely that it’s hackable. Because as said earlier Sony always tries to patch/block any loopholes in their firmware so that it wouldn’t be hackable and releases it as a new update for users to download, so their brand new consoles would surely come preinstalled with this this latest updates. How to tell if a console is hackable or not:
1. Check the firmware version

So how do we check the firmware?
From the home menu/game library,
1. Press “up” on your pad once
2. Scroll to the farthest right, that’s “power”, the one before it is “settings”, open it
3. In settings, scroll down to “system”
4. Then “system information”, you’ll see the firmware written boldly there.

A hackable firmware is between 7.55 or below (eg 7.55/7.51/7.02/6.72 or lower etc), anything higher is not hackable (8.00 and above), please note that this information is subject to change in the nearest future when a new hack comes out for a higher firmware, but as of today, 7.55 is the highest hackable firmware.

What these deceitful sellers do online/offline is install games on consoles that is on the firmware 8.0 and above then sell as a hacked PS4 to unsuspecting buyers, please do not fall for such, always check/ask for the firmware.

2. Check the games list on it if it’s preloaded:

If seller says he can’t check the firmware, ask for the game list, if it comes in this manner I am about to show below, especially if it comes with number 4-8 as part of the games list:

First off, This is the first 2TB PS4 we’re selling, it can actually collect up to 50 games but the games customer chose was very big, that’s why it’s 38 games.

We agreed on 200k for the console, the games, and pad and complete wires. Now before you quote saying it’s not affordable or something, permit me to clear the air at once.

A brand new slim 500GB (with 0 games) as of today ranges from 195k-205k in computer village.
1TB is from 215k and above (lol na dollar cause am)
The one I’m selling is 2TB.

Now you might say “shebi that’s brand new, this is used”

Now let’s assume you’re in the market for a used 500GB PS4 slim, let’s assume you buy it 130k in the market/let’s say you want 1TB and you see a great deal of 145k.

This customer is question requested for 38 games.

Let’s assume all PS4 game disks are 5k each of which obviously it’s not, the cheapest Last of us 2 disk is 8k and so on, but for the sake of orderliness and easier understanding of my point, let’s assume it’s 5k each.

PS4 slim 500GB= 130k
1TB = 145k
5k x 38 games disks= 190k

145k + 190k =335,000 naira
135k + 190k = 320,000 naira

Therefore:
335k - 200k I charged customer = 135k
325k - 200k I charged customer = 120k

From the conclusion above, if you minus the 200k that I charged him for the “2TB hacked PS4 slim with 38 games of his choice from our list of 160 games” from the projected prices we used in the example above, you’ll see that the customer has saved 135k and 120k respectively by buying the PS4 from us, and if that’s not impressive enough, he still got an extra 1TB storage, and wait for it…. Happy new month to you dear reader, may the Lord’s goodness and mercy never be far from you in Jesus name.

Mehn I’m finally done with the installation of the games, e no easy but it was well worth it, the game he chose are so many that I’ll need to make one more post to upload all his games.

The games he has installed should last him at least a year or more, that I am sure of. Assassins Creed Valhalla is so long that if you’re playing 3 hours daily, you won’t still finish it in a month if you’re a completionist, (my brother and myself started the game together using different profiles on the PS4, after 22 days, I gave up, he finished it after a month+, mehn e no easy), let’s not even talk about how long it’ll take him to finish the remaining 37 games.
