Is EFCC Starting From Where SARS Stopped? by Health16(op): 8:28am On Aug 31, 2021
Some days ago, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) became a trending topic among Nigerians, as some of its operatives invaded an apartment building in the Lekki area of Lagos.

In a move likened by many Nigerians to that of the defunct Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS), the EFCC officials forcefully made their way into the residence of a former BBNaija housemate, Dorathy, to make arrests, an event that raised dust among members of the public

Criminals have infiltrated every nook of the country. They have journalists on speed dial who will write abhorrent rubbish to cover their criminality. They even have their social media ops to clean their image.

The way EFCC have been carrying out thier operation against boys is illegal. And the funny thing is that they don't prosecute almost everyone of them.

This was the way SARS was operating and it lead to a disaster in almost every part of Nigeria.

I'm not saying they should no go after Yahoo boys, but do it through the right way, not to be breaking random people's door in the middle of the night

so criminals should have a Field day. Very soon even bandits would look for media worriors to defend them.

EFCC is worse than SARS because SARS only extorts you and allows you to go but EFCC will arrest you extort you seize your cars and properties and still parade you even when you are innocent without taking you to court.

I know 3 people that are EFCC victims and their bail was between 400k to 600k.
EFCC themselves will claim to bring you a lawyer and people that will sign your bail and extort you from there.

Most EFCC operatives now are hoteliers and are living large

How many of those boys does EFCC charge to court. The EFCC will take you to court if you fail to pay the 400k -2 million naira for bail.

EFCC operatives are among the richest civil servants now and have started building hotels and driving the best cars in town

Why can't they be operating against Politicians the way they are operating against Yahoo boys? Or politicians looting public money are saints?

Of course criminals have infiltrated EFCC. The Nigerian security outfits also have paid or brainwashed agents on nairaland who defend these criminals in uniform.

Reminds me of those idiots that believed Abba Kyari was a tailor, till common sense told him FBI doesn't use cow brains and he deleted his ridiculous post later.
