2020 saw us releasing another movie that toppled wedding party (4 years of reign) to become the highest grossing movie.
Some many Nigerian movie was released on Netflix last year,talk of citation and the likes. The entertainment industry here didn’t ground to a halt despite Covid-19.

Between Nigeria and South Africa it depends on what you are looking at.

If you lump everything up like PcW did then South Africa will have an upper hand but if you break it down it will be a win-win for both countries.

If you asked me 2,3 years ago I would have picked SA over Nigeria in both music and movies but times have changed. Now Nigeria is pushing through.

In Music and Movies Nigeria is gradually taking over. SA Movies and Music now looks more static (though have more quality) but in terms of numbers, popularity and appeal Nigeria tops

If we add all the other indixes PcW used then we can say SA leads.
