Yh mainly because Nigerians hype HP and as a matter of fact HP can't compare to Lenovo in terms of specs...
Saw a video recently comparing Lenovo Legion 5 and HP omen 15 with similar specs and the HP just couldn't keep up... It's (HP) very good o but compared to other brands it's behind.

MSI is another beast...my personal favourite

Hp has name, brand, integrity and class over the years that is their selling point, its all about the name, compared to other brands, and these systems you re comparing it with are targetted for gaming purposes, most consumer Hp are not for gaming purposes, though there re series targetted for gaming. you can't compare hp with dell alienwares or acer nitro or Tawainese Msi,

I will go with the Acer nitro 5. It's one of the best bang for your buck gaming laptops.

I would have gone for the Nitro 5 but the display panel is not good for content creation.

The purpose I'm purchasing a system is for graphics intensive applications. I decided to want to go for gaming because of their built for intensive and extensive stress endurance.

MSI is my favorite product when it comes to high end machine. So powerful and elegant for any task you needed it to do either 3D animation Graphics AutoCAD Revit or Programming.
