All of you blaming the government/politicians are not normal .During election ,bribe you and you still vote for the same set of people and you expect different result or development?Una no well.As far as Nigeria is concern, things will remain the same or even get worse in as much as same politicians are still in power

When you look at Gov Abiodun, he looks like a responsible man. However, the constant media report of the state of roads in Ogun is disappointing, to say the least.

If that man is serious about governance, he should focus on constructing those roads. What does he do with all the IGR of the state?
Amosun did few roads, brought most road contracts which he knew he couldn't finish before leaving office. He continued awarding new road contracts instead of completing the many he had started on. That guy don chop the money and thus Dapo govt is seriously under debt!

The last election presented these lots the oppurtunity to vote an Ogun West person to become Governor, but they sold their birthright to another region at the last minute.

Cry me a river, I don't give a damn....I shouted on top of my voice at the time, but their disdain for Amosun and greed made them throw the baby away with the birth water. We can't because our child has a big yansh, we now result to decorating another's with beads....Good morning Ogun West people grin

Before Dapo would cater for Bourdillion, all the political jobbers and warlords in his camp, and then settle the debt he incurred to fund the race...crumbs are left to pay salaries...hence, developmental projects are relegated to the back seat.

We've never had a responsible government in ogun state since Late Olabisi Onabanjo.
We thought the incumbent would have empathy & take his politics to the grassroots but he's just like everyone of them.
Reminiscing how this showman got a governorship ticket like a lottery jackpot yet he couldn't rub his luck on the people he govern is depressing. Prof Yemi Osibande & Osoba who rained on his parade promised us better governance but reversed is the case.
From ijebu-ode, sagamu, Odogbolu to Ago-iwoye to Mowe down to ifo, Akute is an eyesore.
Na sango & its environs worse pass.

Ogun state abeg handover boundary roads to Lagos, let them help you. It seems you don't have the capability to handle them despite your igr.
It's so sad travelling through those dilapidated roads.
Pride no go kill una. Shior

A very promising residential area that shares border with Lagos state... The only bad thing about this area is Road... Good electricity, Very peaceful and nice accommodation.

Lagos state should just annex these areas, afterall more than 80% of employees and even employers that lives here works in Lagos state.

Dapo Abiodun is the most useless Governor currently... What exactly is that man doing as a governor, paying salaries?
Paying salary ke, is the same salary issue that made judiciary staff in Ogun State to embark on strike till this very moment.

Don't even go there.
You wanted Amosun's cronies to continue in governance & keep plunging Ogun state civil servants into life misery?
GNI would have been a better choice than Akinlade, who was at a time HOR member but could not nominate a single project for his constituency.

What did Amosun do exactly in Ogun state than constructing overhead bridges & sentizing the eyebrows of Abeokuta ? Is Abeokuta the only place in ogun state?

Have you care to research how much IGR forgotten places like Agbara, Sango, Ewekoro & Mowe remit into the coffers of Ogun state government?
We have never been lucky with good governance in Ogun state.
Before Constituted Authority started misyarn, he turned oyo state around. Did very laudable projects & was paying Oyo state do-nothings civil servants. Seyi has continued where he left off. You need to see Oyo state. Why can't we have those sort of personnel in ogun state?
Why must our governors enables crime , cultism & transport workers radicalism. Why?

Lubumbashi:
Allow states to collect VAT, issue drivers' licences and number plates to boost their IGR, anything to help states get more money because they shoulder most of the responsibilities. This restructuring of a thing is not too hard. It just requires sincerity to get Nigeria working again.
Oga.
Elections have consequences.
Nigerians are just not bright or wise.
We have been harping on the need for restructuring endlessly....
Then Nigerians went to vote an ace feudalist out of emotions and sentiment.

You guys just have to sit back and endure your goverment.
Sometimes suffering is the tonic for the soul and the liberator of the mind.
I think rail lines to cousins in Maradi, gas pipelines into the sahel and digging up the deserts for oil is more important to Nigeria right now whereas such an important industrial hub with ready potentials for job creation and revenue generation is left to decay.

Let me see who you folks will vote for in 2023 to know, as they say, 'whether una head don correct'
