Please I want to know if Graduate assistant is an employment or an internship?
How do GA earn in universities and Poly.
How can one become a GA?

Graduate Assistants are temporary employees, usually academic staff. They can only become mainstream staff after attaining a Masters degree, after which they move to being Assistant Lecturers.

Usually, if you already have a Masters before being employed as a GA, you could apply to be promoted.

As for the salary, Uni and Poly may pay differently, Federal and State too. However, it revolves around the 100k range for Uni.

To apply, contact the registrar of the institution you're applying to. I'll advise you go there in person to make enquiries before compiling your application and supporting documents.

Good luck.

You mean the institutions will give them the employment for a particular time?
What about if one is given employment in the school he graduated. Will that still be temporary?

Yes, the first appointment is temporary until a Masters degree. It doesn't matter whether you finished there or not.
