Nbotee: ...Because with the Taliban in power, Afghanistan would once more become a breeding ground for terrorists. |

nzeobi:..... 40m people and how many do you think are terrorists with guns and bombs amongst them? Enough to out the remaining unarmed population in check....... Look bro, the taliban is a terrorist organization...... The same thing boko haram and iswap and isis is...... The people who mean well for Afghanistan will never be happy to have the taliban in power and that explains why alot of them are desperately trying to leave the country...... If u say the people want the taliban to rule, then you can say same for boko haram in Nigeria too! |

Emir01:.... Sir who want to fight the taliban right now? The government forces that have surrendered and abandoned by their president or the helpless and armless men and women who have no hope or no where to go? If u were in Afghanistan right now, will u pick up a fight against the taliban? It's just like I being a civilian, going to borno and saying you want to pick up a a fight with boko haram... Something your government has been doing for years and achieved little results.... And talking about looting, you want to loot in cities controlled and captured by the taliban? How is that possible? Or you think they are government forces who have value for human lives? U want to loot in a city dominated by armed men who strap suicide vests around their bodies and wield sophisticated weapons? Think about it bro..... Looting is impossible right now... It's just like saying the masses should protest now in Afghanistan.... If there is a protest of any kind right now in Afghanistan, think about what the outcome would be for the people |

generalwo: Not every member supporter of Taliban is armed. Only their fighting forces are armed. If the locals are not in support the why did the Talibans 75000 fighting army defeat the 300000 well equipped and well trained afghan soldiers trained by USA. In the case of Nigeria, tell me the difference between bokoharam and what hisba police is doing |

Nbotee: Well, I see your point. But things are not really black and white. The country has always been an Islamic nation and even the US supported outsted government did not change that. So it's obvious people are not worried about Taliban cause of Islam. People are worried about them cause of thier version of Islam. People are worried cause of thier ideologies. Everyone is making a fuss about it probably because they're old enough to remember how openly Taliban supported terrorism back in those days. America didn't just wake up and attack Taliban. They offered safe heaven to most wanted terrorists and they haven't changed any bit. Thier extreme anti human rights laws aside, making them a government and expecting other countries to work with them will be mocking the fight against terrorism. Like I said, being an Islamic country has never been the problem. We've got many great Islamic countries out there, and no one is going after them. However, Supporting/fueling global terrorism is just a no-no. Taliban taking over the government will make Afghanistan a safe heaven for terrorists and this will make it almost impossible to fish out the terrorists without a war cause they'll respond with "it's a sovereign nation". Again, the frustrated and oppressed women have no other country to run to and the kids will grow up in a country where the government openly gets or got the largest portion of its revenue from drug deals. It may all seem like an Afghanistan issue now but it wouldn't take a long before you realize it's a global issue. I'm sure no one would disturb Taliban if they agree to reassuring treaties or show any signs of renouncing terrorism. |

nzeobi:..... Sir, first of all the trainee can never be as good as the master..... The Americans may have trained afghan army but which equipments did they leave them with? Also u should know that these terrorists fight without fear for their own lives which makes it very difficult for them to be defeated..... The worst kind of battle you can ever fight is fighting against someone who has nothing to lose...... A soldier can only kill a handful of terrorists at a time with a rifle but think about how many people a suicide bomber rigged with c4 explosives can kill at a single detonation? Let us come Back to Nigeria.... Because the Nigerian army have not been able to defeat boko haram, does it mean that boko haram have the support or backing of the people? Nooooo...... The reason is that when boko haram fighters are in battle, they don't care about civilians and shoot whatever they see that is moving while the army are careful to avoid civilian casualties...... An army may spot one boko haram suicide member in a crowd of 20 people for example and may try to do all he can to avoid killing people along side the suicide bomber but does the suicide bomber think that way? That explains why it is difficult for any government to battle terrorism...... It's not because the terrorists have the support of the people....... In our universities these days, there are thousands of cultists..... And they roam freely every day... Does it mean other innocent students support them and that's why they have not been wiped out completely? The taliban is an evil sect |

Twitter doesn’t care. Whoever wants to join the cause should. If we make too much noise now the military would come back into power. Let me see if Twitter would do anything about it. |

anonymous1759:and the millions of dunces here will swallow that western propaganda hook line and sinker. Most of them even think it's a matter of Christianity Vs Islam, saw my cousin reposting it this morning with sad emojis and asked her " what exactly do you know about this Afghanistan crisis" she couldn't say anything and she's in university o. One starts to wonder what students learn in schools, education is not passing exams. If education does not reach the mind, reform it, enhance it and improve inquisitiveness then that education is a waste. 2 Likes |

If you're an African Muslim or Christian but you support the Taliban, you're a big fool. Because white people and Arabs also came to Africa and our ancestors battled with them in wars for many years, but unfortunately, we lost the battle. That's how you became a Muslim or Christian. Note that I said "battle" not war. White people and Arabs have damaged your brains but there are those of us that understand that we only lost the battle not the war, that's why I try to wake you up on this forum and on my blog but your brain has been paralyzed with English language or Arabic language, Christianity or Islam, western education or Arabic education, bible or Quran. So, while the Talibans are free but you and African Muslim or Christian remain European or Arab slaves. Wake up slaves!! If you want to be called a human being, you must replicate what the Talibans have done right here in Africa. Slaves wake up!! 2 Likes 1 Share |

Nbotee: Wtf are you saying bro, first US never attacked Afghan bcs of Osama, instead they carried out a special mission to kill or detain Osama Bin Laden. Second, the US is not trying to enforce western rulership or whatever they were in Afghanistan to keep the Taliban and Al Qaeda at bay |

BKayy:I didn't see one single point in your post. Did I hear you say America is world power only in southern Nigeria and subsaharan Africa? You are a comedian. You seem to sound like you know the truth but trying to pretend. Can you mention one war lost by USA ever? China and Russia can only brag. They know their boundaries. American warships had spied on China and Russia recently...was there any casualties on the past of US at sea? China and Russia combined can't try spy on US the way the latter has done in recent years. They know where their strength lies. If America should leave Saudi Arabia today the way they left Afghanistan, Saudi will be forgotten in a matter of days because their enemies would overpower them, starting from Iran. The majority of industries in China are of USA origin. The currency widely used in transacting business globally is US dollar. Try and tell a Chinese you want to buy an ordinary pen, they'd quote you in USD, same with Russia. They'd not quote you in their local currency. |

anonymous1759:We know your type. Spreading propaganda on behalf of other countries. Nigeria's population is above 200 million and about 1.5 million people are internally displaced by Boko haram. But you are the first to attack Nigeria, its army, and government at any opportunity with your trite shout of "terrorists". Why did you forget to do your math in case of Nigeria and tell us and the "media" that the majority are not on the firing lines of terrorist and everything is fine? |

ivolt: What are you saying ? If you don't know what to say just pass . It's obvious the Americans wanted to foist their way of government on a sovereign country. After failing to doing that they resort to using media propaganda to make it feel the entire country was burning . If you're not living in Nigeria presently and you see news of negative things happening you'll think the whole country is burning. You might not want to visit. But we know the people In the North are their self problem . If the Government wants to end insurgency In the north they know what to do. It took 300 ISWAP fighters to capture shekua while thousands of Nigerian army have been killed all they could see is a flag. I don't analyze things based on emotions rather with reason . You sound so emotional. Am not amongst those who castigate their country anyhow because the negative impact . Every country is facing one two challenges. |
