This statement is consistent. Pere stealing Maria’s fans and the fact that his fan base is just a coalition of WM haters don’t contradict.
After their falling out, most of Maria’s fans, at least on this thread became rabid WM haters. It was them that started the childish name calling.
Then when Maria began slipping into Pere’s shadow and became her lapdog, it became obvious that Pere was the real deal and now stood more chance of unsettling WM than Maria. And that was when the decamping began.
At this point all the hype about Maria had vanished so the switch from stanning Maria to hating whitemoney was quite easy.

I don't really know whats happening with Queen and WM right now, so I can't speak with authority on the matter. But I feel a lot if Queen's animosity towards WM stems from the fact that she took WM's side and defended him during that altercation with Pere. That made Pere nominate her, and when she got in her feelings about it, WM went on to side with Pere. That kind of thing is painful.
