Hold the accelerator for 1min at 2500 to 3000 rpms and watch the exhaust for smoke. If smoke is noticed oil is getting into the wrong place meaning the rings or valves needs to be looked at

If you keep getting white/grey smoke, this points to potential coolant loss problems with the engine. Has yhere been any problem with coolant losses with the vehicle that owner hasn't disclosed to you?

Any oil shortages too?

Please get full"disclosure" on that car's engine state of health o!

Yes it does bluish smoke is for coolant getting into combustion chamber

Black is for incomplete combustion of too much petrol dumped in combustion chamber
