don't deceive your self , like all southern state are economy buoyant. if firs lost the case, then everyone will look for a way to raise revenue.

Don't worry. The Southern states will find a way of helping each other out in due course through the revival of the like of Oodua Investment Company and Oriental Investments.

Let Kano and Kaduna collect their own taxes and spread it to the other 17 Northern states and you'll know exactly how it feels for monkey to dey work, make baboon dey chop.

HOW THE SOUTHERN VAMPIRES SUCK THE NORTH DRY
Banks run over a dozen of financial facilities from loans to cash transfer. Each facility generates billions for the bank owners.
Northerners with a population of about 140 million do not own a single bank in Nigeria, except for some tiny community banks.
Daily, about 20 million Northerners do bank transfer through some of the big commercial banks that belong to Southerners and each one of them is now charged 20 naira.
20 × 20 million = 400 million. This is the amount Northerners give to Southerners daily on just a single type of bank transaction out of many. In a month it means 4 billion × 29 = 116000000000 (116.billion). In a year it translates into 116000000000 × 12 = 1392000000000 (1.392 trillion).
1.392 trillion the north is giving to the south every year is enough to:
1- 2,784,000 low cost houses each year at unit cost of 5 million.
or
2- 1,392,000 village schools each year at unit cost of 10 million.
or
3- 13,920 small scale industries each year at unit cost of 100 million.
4- Give 50,000 Naira scholarship to 2,784,000 students yearly.
You can think of other projects the amount Northerners are wasting on the Southerners for a single bank facility called mobile transfer and do the maths.
Now come to think of it how much money move from the North to South for the entire banking services. It is estimated to be over 13 trillion which more than double the entire federal budgetary allocation given to the North.
That is just the banking sector. Similar humongous losses are registered in other sectors such as telecommunications, insurance, education, trade, etc This is not an issue for individuals or groups to tackle. It is a political economic issue calling for political decision and action. It is the core reason the North is economically backward. Northern poverty is a direct result, mainly, of lack control of financial and natural resource. Northerners must call for restructuring for direct control of trade, manufacturing and the service industry. Forget about the false Southern propaganda that Northerners are lazy. Millions of Northerner wake up at 4 am and work their bones tired to 8pm and beyond making very little. Their resources have been taken over and only political action can restore them.
The Southern Nigerians have taken political action to stop herders and Ruga project, they took political action to take over trade by demolishing markets owned by Northerners in the South, they took political action to stunt Northern transport business through officially encouraging violent taut action, they took poitical action to demoralized Northerners via massive media stereotype and false propaganda etc
This is the reason those Southern leeches exploiting the North as bankers, transporters, counterfeit goods traders, school owners, estate prospectors, contractors, kidnapping and terrorist sponsors do not wish to leave the North or have Nigeria broken up as oppose to their ignorant tribesmen agitating for break up. These leeches when they talk about restructuring, they mean more political concession and control is to be given to them to permanently dominate the economic life of Northerners

I repeat!!!

Unjust hatred for people will consume you. We see the obvious in the very hilarious VAT battle that is happening. I just dey observe.
Many supported Governor Wike's decision to be collecting VAT because they say "the North contributes nothing and they want to be collecting". But if they know their facts they will understand that they are digging a hole for themselves. They will realize it is all of us that will suffer when States collect VAT.
First of all, after Lagos, the next place that contributes the highest VAT (20%) is the FCT which is in the North. Yes this is followed by Rivers at 6% but Kano is next with 5% and this is followed by Kaduna. So no, it is not as you have been misinformed. The only special case is Lagos. So your State will suffer. Even Lagos will suffer with much more people migrating there. When resources are shared among Federating Units, it is shallow to always think it is injustice. Give Lagos 100% of it's VAT, Mukaila from Sokoto, Chinedu from Aba and even Lasisi from Osun will all migrate there. So what is the point again?
Secondly, in the federal system, companies with less than 25 million were not VATable. You think you are doing Northerners but your company will become VATable once Wike's law is replicated in your State. Why do you think commercially massive States like Abia and Anambra do not top the list of VAT contributors? Because those boys in the market were not exactly VATable, wait until what you are blindly supporting takes effect. VAT will be collected like motor park tickets. Then you will see where hate has led you.
Third, people will most likely pay VAT twice across different states with different laws because Wike does not know what is input and output VAT and did not listen to Nojeem Olasubomi Yusuf and others who politely asked him about it.
Some have even termed Wike the leader of restructuring in Nigeria. A gullible people in search of heroes. Being used and misled by every opportunist. Stop allowing yourself to be used by politicians to settle their personal scores while they tell you they are fighting for your interest.
You need to first know what your interest is to know who is actually fighting for or against it

Their appeal(firs) is dead on arrival, northerners will begin to receive it in quick succession, now that Lagos have applied to join Rivers as Co defendant I see more southern states joining in the next few days. As for me all I see is a win win situation for the states and more lamentations for the north. God punish Buhari!

The South must humble the parasitics North. they eat from where they did not sow.

Lagos and Rivers state generate 70% of all VAT revenue! 70%. So all others with FCT generate the remaining 30%. Know that the FCT too generates high VAT. You will soon know that it is not only the North that is parasitic!

*NIGERIA ENTERS THE BEGGING ERA.*
(We must deliberately remain vigilant).

*1. Gombe government begs Southern States to reconsider stance on VAT and be their Brothers keeper.*

*2. FIRS begs NASS to pass a bill setting up a Federal Revenue Court and putting VAT under exclusive legislative lists.*

*3. NASS begs INEC to reject electronic transmission of results.*

*4. Fulani terrorists surrendering in their thousands with their sponsors begging for amnesty for the criminals.*

*5. Miyetti Allah begs NASS to stop the Southern Governors anti open grazing law.*

*6. Buhari government begs the Plateau State people not to resort to self defenses in their fight against invading terrorists.*

*7. Miyetti Allah begs Lagos State government to delay the prohibition of open Cattle Grazing Bill because Cows may cost N2million each if the Bill is passed.*

*What is most shocking in all these begging is that the all powerful Miyetti Allah terrorist group too is finally begging. This is the group that openly announced that, "FULANI OWN ALL LANDS IN NIGERIA." And openly threatened and attacked a sitting Governor in Nigeria without repercussions. And the FG too threatened the people on behalf of the terrorist organization that it is; "either your land or your lives."*
*Times are changing indeed.*

*Maybe it is just dawning upon them that their principal has just about 20months left in his tenure and he has been unable to secure for them the promised free land all over the country. Rather than helping them to modernize their business into a multi-billion dollar businesses and exporting Industrial beef to the world, he has impoverished them the more and helped the anti open grazing laws to become the law of the land. The 8years of Buhari has become their albatross.*

*And a sitting Fulani Governor announced to the world that all foreign Fulanis are welcome to Nigeria without legal documentation. Their allegiance was to their ethnic group rather than to the country they have sworn to protect.*

*Meanwhile another Fulani General announced openly that repentant terrorists can become the president of Nigeria tomorrow.*

*To suddenly see such arrogant people suddenly resorting to begging is very suspicious and we must not let down our guards.*

*The impunity era is gradually coming to an end. The downtrodden indigenous people of Nigeria must remain steadfast, unified, strategic and vigilant to escort those who visited us with arranged insecurities, stealing, killing, destruction and kidnapping out of power and influence. And ensure that they are handed over to the War Crimes Commission.*

Thanks.

Good development.

If all the South South States join hands to support this. It will go a long way to help in developing their state.

You can't banned alcoholic drinks in your State and expect to collect revenue from the same business in another state.

Anyways, have you checked my signature today?

Have a look at it below.
Smart Business Information Hub

Sadly, the South cannot unite on this because some southern states are leeches too just like their counterparts in the north.
They are beneficiaries of the 'reap where you did not sow' system.

Lagos go die there. See, Lagos is winning. One thing I need you to know is that Osinbajo always beat FG silly in court when he was the attorney general of Lagos under Tinubu. The same Osinbajo is not in good terms with presidency. And the same Osinbajo must not betray Lagos. How? Dem no born am well...except he doesnt want to be the president of Nigeria. See FG has lost this VAT thing. Let them forget it. Next is for SS and SE to cut off the oil pipe to Kaduna refinery. That's it. Let's go there....next, we get supreme court's in each region. And then, we get state police. A wan see how DSS can enter everywhere, harras and arrest without the governor's consent. See, gov should wake up and reduce the power of Abuja by all means.

The Supreme Court will eventually decide the matter legally. If the states win, there will be serious issues surrounding the administration of VAT that state governments need to come together to iron out. This is not one issue that can be sorted out quickly.
