Kante didn't do wrong by refusing to lay the pass to Lukaku in the build-up to that match situation. He's not the best of passers so it's understandable he didn't overplay his luck by not forcing a pass, so he took the safer and more reasonable option of laying the pass to an AM whose major instinct is supposed to make.

Contrary to Ur opinion, Kante’s pass to Havertz even placed the whole Liverpool team at a great disadvantage. It’s the kind of pass that leaves the opponents defence widely open and that was exactly what happened. Havertz was supposed to put the icing on the cake but he didn’t. He chose to go one on one from the moment he got the ball, he wasn’t thinking of playing as AM at that point but taking it upon himself to be the point man.

That was a wrong decision but that doesn’t make him a bad player . Even GOATS have their bad days .

Not sure there is a better way to explain that moment than what you put here ......although I also think kante made a mistake but as you said Havertz as a typical AM should have done better.

I don't have time to dig up the gif and post it here but so many things happened in that instance that made that particular play difficult, particularly the way the ball was played to him, while you can look at a single frame and assume that the pass was available, if you watch the clip, you will see that the window of opportunity closed before he could redirect the ball, we had this argument here weeks ago, havertz is capable of making that pass once and he should have done that but I can understand why he didn't, hopefully it doesn't repeat itself or at the very least incidents like that are rare

Mount does this regularly, no one picks offense, havertz makes one bad final 3rd decision and you people are out with your pitch forks especially that blueman always acting like someone with neutral perspective on issues, I intentionally ignored his mention
