Ahead of 2023 general elections, Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, on Friday, said the All Progressives Congress, APC, is not interested in Igbo presidency.

Uzodinma spoke while dismissing claims of APC zoning its presidential ticket to the Southeast.

Appearing on Channels Television, Uzodinma said APC is looking for a Nigerian president.

Asked if APC is committed to zoning the 2023 presidential ticket to the South-East, he responded: “We are not looking for an Igbo President. We are looking for a President of Nigeria.

“We as a party APC believe what we are practicing here is partisan democracy and every politician must be loyal to his party.

“At the end of the day it is the decision of the party that you belong to that will matter.”

Majority Igbo will Articulate in 2023, they love voting for Fulani as long as the Fulani comes from the PDP. It's only the Fulani in APC that are terrorists and bandits.

The southeast have the most useless politicians especially their APC governors, the people of the southeast are literally at war against their governors with many youths already killed or locked up by the Fulani dominated federal forces been used by their governors.
