Atiku dollars will buy the useless scoundrels faster than you can buy mango during season.
Yes you are right.Put Atiku Vs Osibanjo,Atiku will take the 11 states in the lower Niger Congress.Yorubas are not the only people in southern Nigeria.

Obasanjo has already used your slot.Go and rest
and you still want to vote for APC.

Where in my comment did I say I would vote APC or any party?

if he can't win the primary he should join another party.

If he joins any party other than PDP (and PDP won't give him their ticket), then he can kiss goodby to any chance of winning.

While we have Osibanjo, Peter Obi and Akinwumi "Akin" Adesina.

I heard Mr Obi was quite frugal in the administration of Anambra State. I like that, and I think that's one thing we need badly at the helm right now. The profligacy & corruption across all echelons of government is endemic and needs to be rooted out. For that reason alone, if I was voting, Mr Obi would be my choice. I like demonstrable experience.

I also like Mr Osinbajo's proactive approach and ability to connect with the masses. He will be a vote winner in a way that Mr Obi can't match in my opinion.

To fix Nigeria, we need more than good leadership and oratory skills. We need people with guts. The evil people in this country are overwhelming, so it will take a lot of guts to dislodge their machinations. That's why I would pick Amaechi over Osinbajo any day, anytime as APC presidential candidate.

Mr. VP is the best choice Nigeria have right now. It amazes me that Nigerians can't see the wisdom in his silence. They think he is only gentle but no he is silently tough. He is the VP and he's doing exactly what a VP should do. VP Osibanjo should be the next Nigeria president. Let's do it.. All hands should be on deck!!!

I can remember vividly I told everyone I know that Osinbajo made a blunder when he was acting president. You dont outshine your master. We know say Buhari is not so intelligent, just let his time pass and get on board. He is playing his card wisely now. By God's grace, professor is the next president of Nigeria. Amen

That's just it. He his still the best bet for the south west.

Exactly. When they shake am small, guy man go cower. That's the problem of Osinbajo. If his president, he will be Tinubu's stooge. He knows if he does not bow to the whims of Tinubu, Ambode's fate awaits him. It's sad

You are talking about declaration , has INEC gave permission to anybody to declare yet? Leave Buhari, Tinubu and Osinbajo alone nah! When time comes, we will see. But to be frank and truthful , Osinbajo is a good man. His leadership style is great, we need him in 2023 as the president .

Dailypost insinuation is highly uncalled for and unnecessary. Out of the pertinent issues in ground for us to tackle as a Nation, they chose to report on an election that's over a year away from now. I love the way the VP's aide referred them back to his post on this issue. Let's leave 2023 to the Politicians and allow Osinbajo to work.

To all those saying Osinbajo is a good man.

Nigeria does not need a good man, remember Jonathan was a good man too. Enough of all these good men syndrome bla bla bla. We need need someone of wikes audacity that will radicalize.

Osinbajo continues to turn a blind eye to all the things happening in the country, forming pastor. They should all pack and go. We need a new blood.

If he becomes president, he would be like a puppet controlled by jagaban and those he is loyal to.

I just want a new breed of politician abeg

I think Mr Amaechi is, in some sense, in the OBJ mode. He will use force to push through his convictions. But lacking OBJ's dexterity, experience, and wily dispositions, he may quickly find himself in intractable loggerhead with legislators.

Nigerian presidency comes with a lot of powers, but a president that tries to change too much will find his administration frustrated by legislators, particularly those of northern extraction.

Re: 2023 Presidency: Loyalty To Buhari, Tinubu Delaying Osinbajo’s Declaration by princemeadow(m): 7:04am On Sep 11, 2021
DeLaRue:
Unless he's Mr Buhari's candidate (which is unlikely), or Mr Tinubu's candidate, he has very little chance of winning the primary. Those are the biggest power brokers in APC.

He showed in the past - when Mr Buhari travelled abroad - that he can and will take decisions that he considers beneficial to the country, even if those decisions offend some northern power bases. For this reason, some will do everything possible to stand in his way.

These people will prefer a Southern president they can control or at least, greatly influence. They won't want an independent-minded 'President Osinbajo.'

This is the current situation of Nigerian politics. At the grassroots level ( councilor and LG chairman) If you appear to be independent minded, they will dump you for a candidate that can be remotely controlled.
Sad.

True. If Amaechi is given the ticket, he has my vote automatically. Nigeria needs someone who will not be a stooge for one man in Lagos. Osinbajo will not do anything to counter his godfather. And his godfather na malo man, not to be trusted
