The way i see it, The Spirit guiding Maria is preventing pere from winning the head of house and i don't think pere will ever win that Head of house.

Maria will never pray for pere to win and in my opinion it may seems as though God has answered her prayers.

Because if pere win, then he is going to choose angel and Maria will never never ever want that to happen.

Our general should forget about winning head of house because Maria's prayers is definitely working on a low key.
