If the Niger Delta states & their governments, their drunk mentally lazy bandit governors, their insatiable & unrepentant greedy elders, politicians & militant leaders cornering everything meant for the people had utilized the 6 trillion naira NDDC funds, additional tens of trillions of naira from statutory allocations, 13% derivation allocations, ecological funds, Ministry of Niger Delta funds, royalties & rents etc in the past 20 years to build the economy & infrastructure of Niger Delta, they won't be today shamelessly moving in & out of courts in Nigeria over VAT from beer & Lagos will be nowhere near Delta, Rivers or Akwa Ibom in IGR.
Now, they are instigating a VAT war with FG to cover the monumental failure in delivering governance to their people & the mindless terrorism on the people of Niger Delta recently uncovered in NDDC.
If citizens of Niger Delta are not already doped silly by ignorant primitive contrived emotions these leeches feed them daily, they should by now be asking them questions!

They should be telling them to give account of the trillions they collected at least in the past 20 years first before talking about collecting VAT revenue.

They should be telling them to implement local government financial autonomy first before demanding for fiscal federalism.

They should be telling them to respect & not interfere in the independence of the state houses of assembly & state judiciaries which are the two organs of government empowered by the constitution to check the excesses & misappropriation of resources by the governors if they are to trust their demands for fiscal federalism.
But sadly, they are applauding the bandits called state governors & their rapacious elders, politicians & militant leaders accomplices raping them front & back as they lead them by the nose once again as always in another wild goose chase distraction from the real issues of their underdevelopment, stagnation & destitution in the midst of plenty in the Niger Delta.
A pathetic shame indeed!

Sorry this emotional blackmail will not work.
Yes we have squandered monies and lost opportunities, but they say when a man wakes up his morning has started.
The south has woken up
Eyes don open
Unfortunately for you, na Buhari wake everybody up. If he was the average Nigerian president, giving as little as appointments in a fair manner, trust me, we go still dey sleep, our eyes no for don open.
But we thank him for opening our eyes.
It's our VAT, vat of hardworking people. Those who are not hardworking should wake up from their slumber and become economically useful to there self, their states and their region.
Strength in number no be only for election purposes, the questions are:
Are you economically productive?
Are you hardworking?
Is poverty reducing in your family and state?
Is literacy levels increasing in your family and state?
Is the gap between the rich and the poor in your society closing?
Are you getting rid of rankadede mentality?
Bro, eye don tire.
More of these meeting pls.

Atiku is about to have another melt down on twitter.

On another note, if only these fools realise the power they have. Every negotiation power is on their side. Is it the Nigerian economy, oil, business, access to sea? Or is it the human capital index. But they keep deciding to play slaves to the north. That's why there's a huge power vacuum in Alaigbo.

if Northern Nigeria have these aforementioned resources, they wouldn't have quit one Nigeria since only but they would prevent southerners from enjoying the benefits

Northerners are very dangerous specimen, these useless southern leaders should better get sense or we panel beat senses inside their dumb brain. make they get 10 southern leaders like me, I swear that will be the end of North nonsense

Did they request for permit from the Government of IPOB?

I heard IPOB is in support of their unity and request for devolution of power.

You are not wiser than IPOB

With the way our leaders are behaving recently, it seems they're also tired of the injustice being melted on us by the abōkis in this shit hole of a country. Normally their loots should be enough to make them overlook but now it isn't the case. I have this feeling we're gonna see some unexpected things if power doesn't return to South in 2023. For now let's continue giving it hot to the fulani terrorists.

God bless Southern Nigeria
God bless Gov Wike
God bless Sanwo olu.
God bless all southerners out there.
oga loot is no longer enough. Most of those governors can't travel from their state capital to their home town without getting sprayed with ak-47 or kidnapped on the road.

That's the most painful part. After the pogrom that preceded the genocide of '66. The Northern half of Nigeria ceded from Nigeria, it was only the British government that convinced not to, that there was no gain in it for the Northerners. Same thing happened during the coup that brought Murtala Muhammad to power, the bastard wanted to bomb Lagos and cede northern Nigeria from the rest of the country, the British came running.

Southern unity is imperative, especially during this period of unwarranted subjugation by the Futa jalon migrants...I hope they would come out of the meeting with unified decision.c

Please, one very important question.

Are yorubas part of the south? I thought they broke out from Southern nigeria after their 'victory' at the 2015 polls?
When were they re-admitted back into the southern forum? I remember they claimed to be 'west' and they have left the south. The 2015 post election threads are still here on NL ,(If myddd never delete am to save face for him tribe). grin

My retentive memory wan shatter tables. grin
