Not necessarily they colonized the place but what made them rich was the resources which were not previously exploited by the populace now from different perspectives this can be right or wrong for some people, one point of view is that the resources of the land belonged to the Aboriginals and them exploiting them without the permission of the people is evil and hence yes they became rich from colonization and another point of view is that the Aboriginals had no intention and no knowledge of the resources they had so there's nothing wrong with immigrants exploiting it as long as they compensate them for the land. But personally i'd have to do more research on Australia because it's not a topic that i've read anything about to be frank.

Yes because it was a predominantly white nation so wasn't stopped from making full use and benefit of its resources and before you bring up South Korea and Japan one of them is an American puppet and the other one was already developed from their imperialistic tendencies in the past so they couldn't stop them from developing further added to that they had to give billions in reparations for the nuclear bombings

After observing the situation in Nigeria, I discovered capitalization has made few rich but many poor.

Like I said, Nigeria must research the economic system that suits us.

Nigeria can never be rich from capitalism because we missed the opportunity to exploit others like Europe did. Now Europe control financial capital and monopoly of the global world. They are not interested in us being consumers they just want our resources since we are rich in it. Just for us to get imported goods it cost us too much money. We can’t borrow from outside because they have put us in too much debt and we don’t want to be too dependent on them. We need the men building roads and dam. We need to women building new schools and hospitals. It’s not gonna be easy but it’s the needed sacrifice to fix this country. The party I support is even advocating for this. It’s not free labour in the sense of punishment but free labour in the sense of nation building. Because of how poor North Korea you you can understand why free labour is needed. I can also choose nice pictures of Nigeria and compare with those of north Korea and bust your claim but to what end? If you choose to remain bitter, inferior and ignorant, I will just let you wallow in your state.

Bangladesh and russia has the same life expectancy. What we need to make sure is if everyone has food to eat and if everyone has shelter. That’s the most important part for now. We shouldn’t worry about gdp because those are not important. We had better standards of living in pre colonial Africa and gdp did not exist then. We need to change our priorities as Africans and acknowledge what matters to us.

This is literally part of the GCSE course in England there's a whole topic on Singapore and the main point is that 20% of the worlds trade goes through the strait of malacca which is where Singapore is all they had to do was build a port and the money flew in enmasse

On the top of my head I can tell you that Australia and Canada has a bunch of mining companies in Africa destroying the continent. Switzerland is used as a money laundering front for billionaires and corrupt politicians. Sigapore is a tax heaven. Norway got oil companies destroying the niger delta. Sweden got multi national companies using child labour.
