Middle class is an allusion in this country. We were having a discussion in my office this past week and someone like u just did referred to us as middle class/emerging middle class ; funny thing is another person was able to make us see that the whole middle class talk na bobo.

On salary day u can categorically boast of being in the middle class and then a week after u've sorted Ur personal needs, catered for Ur aged parents whom Govt don't pay their pension, Ur sibling who is yet to get a job, Ur car maintenance, Ur personal savings and then u are living below poverty line before the next pay day.

The number of people living below poverty line makes it quite difficult for u to stay in the middle class in this country more than a month.

As regards Ur talk about buying new electronics and gadgets that has direct relationship with dollar, fogerit mehn!....All the so called middl3 class people in this country ride tokunbo vehicles; as a matter of fact only few MD's of companies buy new vehicles....now think of their subordinates who are supposed to be in the middle class

While u may not be totally wrong, let's look at it this way ; a friend who did study economics in the varsity told me the major drain of FX in this country is debt servicing. I won't claim to be an expert in this field, but if he's right according to him almost 90% of the FX we earn as a country flows out to service those debts accrued by the past and incumbent governments. That leaves us with the FX gotten through people abroad who send money home to their dependants.

I believe like Roland17 pointed out, this is where abokifx being part of the problem comes in. With abokifx setting some parallel rates which CBN believes is not in reality with the situation of things on ground, it will likely lead to triple inflation. Like others have said ; abokifx may not really be the main problem but he's part of the problem the naira to dollar situation is facing.

Here is Tuchel on Mount's performance...But some peeps in here think he's bread and butter. Mount almost everytime, produces a stinker and is just lucky to be Brit, so he has the media cut him some slack.

While Havertz hasn't been phenomenal, I'll sure pick him a ton of times ahead of the headless chicken Mount.
