NinjaMetahuman:The reason I posted it was the argument in here same day with a few Mount stans claiming he had a decent performance, despite the clear piss poor performance he had. People have stinkers but still play 90 minutes, no be today. The coach clearly saw what we all saw and noted same. |

Looking forward to a wonderful matchday away to Spurs. |

philip0906:if mount had stinker/piss poor and still by far the best attacker that night, what does that say about havertz and ziyech that didn't even come close to him on performance scale? We supposed to demote havertz and ziyech to Birmingham under 19 then if mount having a stinker still had better day than both of them. |

NinjaMetahuman:Good for you. Doesn't change the facts: Tuchel's views about his stinker clearly highlighted and what every other fan saw. |

A001:It cannot make sense to a reprobate mind of yours. How did religion made Nigeria a consuming economy rather than a producing nation with vast hectares of fertile land to grow foods, you need to tell me. How religion made the electorates to infuse sentiment into their choice of leadership when there are well read, well travelled development & policy experts overlooked for leadership positions, you need to tell me. How religion brought decay into our educational system by making professors & lecturers averse to new ways of teaching & reject modern devices because they are too conservative. Please broach this . You need to tell me how religion blindsided your patronage towards foreign fashion when you can actually buy Aba -made leathers & wears to grow the naira. Please tell me the fault of religion in this. |

OJURONGBE1:Religion is the main culprit in all these issues you highlighted because the majority of Nigerians worship foreign gods imposed on them by the white colonial masters and Arab conquerors. There are two ways of colonizing or conquering a people: physically through wars and invasions, and mentally through the use of religion (this is the worst of the two). Thus, even though Nigeria became independent 61 years ago of British rule, the country is still in mental slavery due to the citizens worshipping the same gods introduced to them by their colonial masters. I thought it would be glaring to any rational thinker that if you want to colonize a people, you surely can't give them effective systems of education and religion. But it's surprising when many Nigerians would credit the whites for providing our forefathers with education and religion, without seeing the fact that truly educated people can't remain in slavery. So, when the British missionaries built schools in Nigeria in the 19th century, they knew what they were doing. "Education makes a people easy to lead, but difficult to drive; easy to govern, but impossible to enslave,” says Henry Peter Brougham. But looking at the history of Nigeria, it's clear most Nigerians are just schooled (indoctrinated to think like a slave that despises his culture), not educated. Schooling, reading to pass exams and earn a certificate, is different from education, teaching a person how to think. You don't expect a country with the bulk of the citizens mentally enslaved and mentally lazy to have the ingenuity and critical thinking skills required to be a production-centric economy, not consumption-centric. You don't expect a people that have deep-seated hatred for their ancestors, culture, and traditions to be productive and innovative. A river that forgets its source will dry up, says a Nigerian parable. An average Nigerian dislikes giving their kids native names, hates putting on native wears, but you don't know that the foreign religions are the problem, and hardly can such a country become great. It all starts from the brain and one's values. The brain is everything, and if a person is in the mental slavery of religion, they can't achieve greatness. The day religious texts (the Bible and Qur'an) start to lose their value in the eyes of many Nigerians and many churches and mosques are demolished or converted to research institutes or schools, that's when Nigeria will start growing. |

BlueRayDick:Two different things...A red card was given because the tackle itself was dangerous....Two legged tackle from behind....Here, the situation's completely different...The rule is 10 yards from the opposition players when a freekick is about to be taken(I.e maintain a 10 yard distance or more from the ball when it's freekick time)...The player here knowingly and intentionally tipped the ball away at exactly the same time the Luton player went for the freekick.... The reaction was just from two players and they didn't do anything because they knew they had no grounds.... |

Ennyjay69:Atleast we admit there is one stinker, which is a good start from the delusion some of the Mount stans have been dishing out. I stated, Havertz hasn't been exceptional either but definitely no way will Mount fans be the ones to talk about "exceptional". |

philip0906:many mount fans here still say that mount has to improve, havertz stans are the one that hype him to high heavens and call him generational talent You even said you will rather pick havertz over mount cos of one game |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by philip0906(m): 11:05am On Sep 19, 2021 |
Ennyjay69:Generational? Maybe but I'm definitely not sold on that yet as I have to see consistency. But one thing is, Havertz can rise to the occasion when it matters (Champions league campaign last season is an example), which is why I'll pick him ahead of Mount. |

timbros:VVD was rested in just a match, you shouldn't compare it to a long lay off. Arnold became cautious last season with his attacking runs, with the absence of VVD. That's the truth you don't want to swallow because enough Ls don full your throat. ![]()
