first put up a good university campus before you think of comparing your bankrupt country to Ghana

Not in Cape or gold Coast including Accra. That was a direct British colony.
Just30:
By 1948, Ghana was fully being govern by Ghanaians using taxes raised in Ghana... Our legislative council was completely formed by Ghanaians of all walk of life..

And Ghana was a parliamentary democracy.

The current university campus land was donated by a single Ghanaian family...

You think Univeristy of Accra can compare to Nairobi or Kenyatta smiley. Univeristy of Ghana is like a high school - UON has 3 towers in Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu

UoG does not compete with backward unis in Kenya that do not have a befitting campus

There is no criteria UOG can beat UON. In infrastructure alone - it not even close. Your university is like a Kenya high school

UOG was established by British in 1948. It was University of Cape Coast. That was British direct colony.

Mouth mouth as usual

UoN should first put up a proper campus ... It shouldn't be looking like Achimota High School..

Or some other model high schools in Ghana.

Rant on, when I'm done driving, I will reply you grin

I think you just dont know how expansive Nairobi university is - this video rotate around Nairobi university....and it doesnt even expand to Chiromo campus...you can see on the backgroudn.

ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE - your UOG is high school

0 - 1:15 - That main campus - not inclusive of hostels
1:19 - That is Main campus playing field, swimming pool, hostels, all the way.

Btw Westland and CBD is the University of Nairobi....

Now on the far end )where you see trees) - is Chiromo campus - that extend all the way to Dusit hotel that was under attack from terrorist.

This is just ONE campus - this video doesnt even show you Chiromo campus.

Nairobi has 6 other campus in Nairobi.

Mombasa and Kisumu.

It's NOT EVEN CLOSE>

Worry about the poverty in Nigerian cities first.
Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by rvp20182: 11:37am On Sep 21, 2021
It's amazing when a nigeria want to compare their cities with Nairobi. Like really? Or Ghana high school comparing itself with UoN with 3 towers smiley - Nairobi university sit btw CBD and Westland - those are just two campus. It's worth 20 times all combined universities of Ghana.

Nairobi is few notches from Joburg - and it mostly the little things like paving walkways - otherwise in terms of tall buildings; mmmh Nairobi is already there.

Kenya's Ferdinand Omanyala recently set the new African record in the men's 100m (9.77 seconds) at the 2021 Kip Keino Classic in Nairobi, Kenya.

It's the eighth fastest time in the men's 100m sprint in the world ever.

There was a Nigerian in the race as well. I am guessing bad advice from his coach.

That would be Enoch Adegoke. The guy who pulled up with a hamstring injury in the olympic games 100 metres final.

As a say Germany is a different situation and the problem with the problem with southern America is how conservative they were and against different forms of technology so they didn't industrialize where do you think the northern part got the money to industrialize?

England and France would not have been as rich or developed as quick as they have without slavery it's not a debate they made trillions of dollars from slavery they couldn't have possibly developed that fast without that money are you really saying that they could have developed in the same manner without trillions of dollars? How does that even make sense
What made Germany different if not the structure of its development?

And what made the northern part of America richer and stronger if not the structure of its development?

Even before slavery and colonialism, the British already laid the foundation for their greatness with scientific and technological progress. They could make things others wanted. And when they took over European trade routes in the 16th century, they became destined for serious greatness. So they would still have done well without slavery and colonialism. That's a fact.

Slavery and colonialism definitely contributed immensely to their progress economically but it is silly to think Britain wouldn't have prospered without those. If they weren't great they wouldn't have built an empire upon which the sun couldn't set until after the 2nd world war. Face facts, man.

Any criteria that doesn't include data submitted by universities themselves - where some unknown Nigeria university spring from nowhere. What was that Convent?

Nairobi for most credible stats - rank no 7 in Africa --and definitely top 10 in Africa.

I definitely say Witwatersrand, Cape town, Pretoria, Cairo, Makerere, Nairobi, Stellenbosch are my top 7 Africa universities.

Throw in a 2 more from South Africa (Johannesburg, KwaZulu) and Alexandria from Egypt.

And maybe Ibadan or Lagos or one of those in Ghana or Adis Ababa or Darsaleem.

They may have propspered but not at the same speed or at the same level and the British empire was literally built on the backs of slavery and colonialism so that point doesn't make sense
