Buy Chlorpyrifos. Popular brand is Perfect Killer and 1L is sold for 3,500 naira.
Mix ratio: To fumigate the affected wood, add 200-300ml of the chemical to 15L water.
To eliminate the queen, just mix little qty. of the chemical to 'garri' and sprinkle it in and around the colony. The workers will pick some of them to feed the queen and the king.

Boss the property is fenced o, Even the estate is fenced with a gate, the boys dig big hole in my fence to move the rods..........these guys are desperate...


Boss, i done recover my rods back o.........area boys enter street for me..............all 15 stolen 10mm rod come out complete.......

only security in the estate gate.........my site in fenced & I lock the gate, but the boys dig big hole in the fence & drag the rod through the hole.


Good news the street boys were able to organize themselves & conduct a search, they were able to capture one of the boys, they stole 15 10mm rod from my site & sold it to a welder for 16k..............see better massage wey this boy collect............no be small massaging the area boys massage the boy this morning/afternoon...........to serve as an example to others........

My rod come out complete from the bush wey dem hide am sharp sharp........

Boss sorry for the unfortunate experience you have had in your project.

How I handle sites prone to loss of materials via stealing.

If it is almost impossible to take inventory of materials at my project site, I usually adopt the JUST IN TIME approach where I make payment to vendors on required materials and liaise with them to only deliver the quantity needed for a particular day.
Usually I use bike men for such arrangement, they deliver quantities of rods,binding wire,cement, wood needed for the day, that way we do not store anything on site.

Some dubious ones may even connive with area boys to steal materials from site.

This just re-echoes what we usually say on this thread, no be everything be police/soldier... Most times those area boys/omoonile usually have their good days and thats why one should keep a good arm's length rltnshp with them.

They stole a mounted Storex from a house two doors away. I traced it to a new block industry. The Store was "given" to him allegedly by one of the area boys. The said area boy came to my house a few days later to shout that I was using the Drone to spy on his Wife in his compound.

....they stole 52 16mm rod from one of the landlords in the site......d guy just dey shout .....I felt sorry for him.......
