Today' I traveled down to Villa to visit my mom and while at home she spotted this particular plant at our backyard and she was extremely happy about it.

She said the name is OMONIGELEGELE in Yoruba. Like omoni-gelegele. It looks like this local sponge but very soft.

Now she said something that really shocked me and I find it hard to believe. She said this particular has no root/source. That no matter how you trace it you can never find the root.

That they use it for unexpected blessings from people when used.

E shock me small. Do you knowor heard about this before? What's the English name if you know it

Yes na. That's why herbalists use it for people. With the perception that when used in bathing, it helps in deep metaphysical cleansing

It is a parasite plant. It has no root but depends solely on others plants.

Don't be surprised, if a living thing is a parasite, it may has a weak root or not at all. The plant does not only suck its hosts, but strangulate them to death. It does not nave one host but many , it will extend to as many as possible and its webs will prevent its hosts from growing will it such them to death.

You should know more than your parents. If your life is modeled along that plant's hmm you know what will happen?
