Clearly, the scammer impersonated Subtlelad. I noticed he actually chatted the victim up. First red flag.

Let me state it clear for record purposes.

I put up the PayPal sale advert clearly stating the amount i want to sell ($88 gns). Efesmith and one other person quoted me which i saw but ignored because of trust and credibility issues.

Immediately, i chatted my usual long time paypal buyer aAk1 (i didn't chat him earlier because he had told me in the past that he had issues with paypal so he wasn't buying, thought that still persist). But he said he was interested and he even called me to sort out fee and we concluded. (proof below)

I sold the funds to him at exactly 9:11am that day. (proof below) of which i've received payment for.

According to efesmith's images, the scammer chatted him at 10:08am which is almost 1hr after i'd sold the funds.

Also, note that i had said i was selling an exact figure (88), if i was chatting you, my first messages wouldn't be 'how much paypal do you need' when i had already stated the amount i was selling.

I never chatted efesmith and that is not my name (on the whatsapp chat), nor do i own a Wema account or the listed phone number.

My WhatsApp number is nowhere on nairaland.

Go through my profile, i have transacted with multiple sellers on here and none has lashed me with claims of scams before.

Now that you don't have a number, how can one relate if its you or not?

Honestly, it sickens me to see people drop adverts and not have contact details. Only asking you to quote with Whatsapp details and have them chat you.
