Those three, atiku, Tambuwal and saraki destroyed pdp, now they are the one making decisions for same party they destroyed few years ago

Findings revealed that PDP leaders from the South-South are already plotting to secure the position of the vice presidential candidate of the party against the Southeast which got same in 2019.

The argument of the South-South is that its voting strength is bigger than that of the Southeast.

A party source said: “We are caught in zoning politics in such a manner that if it is not well managed, it can consume the party or undermine its electoral fortunes.

“While some party leaders have been adamant on the 2017 zoning formula, the South-South is now trying to displace the Southeast for the vice president ticket. It means the South-South PDP leaders are plotting to alter the 2019 power equation. This is unhealthy for PDP.

This got me laughing hard. Atleast the south south should leave VP for their SE brothers? Lol imagine.

PDP should forget about 2023 if they foolishly zone the presidency to the North.

Imagine how South East that PDP ought to microzone their presidential ticket to been screened out of the equation just because of South West that must be pacified? But sincerely, can't PDP do without South West votes? I think, South East states supposed to reject playing any leading role in PDP on her way to both convention and 2023 election, also, southern region ought to cede the PDP party structure to the north so as to pave way for the south to legally and morally lay claim on the southern presidential candidate which ought to go to South East.

But if PDP zone it to The North APC will be very confused.
They will be confused because if they zone it back to the north after buhari 8 years it will be a big slap on the Afojas that push them to power.
And zoning to the south for south west to grab will have an herculean task for APC to defeat a northern candidate of PDP

So if you see any person gossiping about PDP zoning president to the north just know that that person is from the south west.

Am Yoruba but your claim isn't really true, Rivers State and Akwa ibom can single-handedly fund the party.

South west leaders should better co-oparate amongst themselves to grip that PDP chairmanship for the region, cus it's better than nothing.

Obasanjo from Yoruba became its first president of Nigeria.


Musa Yar’Adua from Fulani became its 2nd president of Nigeria.
Goodluck Jonathan of Ijaw became its 3rd president of Nigeria.
IGBO person should be 4th PDP president of Nigeria.

As such, five years after work on the site was stopped in 2014, the new helmsmen in PDP are crying for funds to see to the completion of the building. However, the cry for more funds has raised fresh concerns over the status and whereabouts of the N21billion raised during a special fundraising dinner organised by the party on December 2014.  
  
Incumbent PDP national chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, recently lamented that there was not enough money to complete the new national secretariat, which cost has was varied upwards from N11.5bilion to N16billion.
    
The then governor of Kaduna State, Alhaji Namadi Sambo, an architect, was commissioned to put up the project design. And in a bid to get the structure off the drawing board, PDP organised fundraising on November 14, 2008, targeting N10b out of which it raked in N6b. The dinner was chaired by Vice President Goodluck Jonathan and the highest donation came from Mr. Femi Otedola, while the richest man in Africa, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, announced a donation of N3b worth of cement.

Yoruba nation rally protesters were attacked and arrested, protesters where shot at lekki tollgate, your claim to Yoruba's being an economic backbone may be right but northerners have huge control of the army, para-military and other defense agencies. I want you to get angrier ooo Truth is, North calling for presidency to be retained by them is no fluke or empty threat. Any party that offers that is whom they will support... and you know what that means? So, Buhari might give your Tinubu and his team their wish of becoming the ticket while the same Buhari will not do anything to support the Yoruba candidate and at the same time, he knows the North will tilt towards PDP Northern candidate... una go learn..

WHY ARE THEY LOOKING FOR PRESIDENTIAL CAANDIDATE FROM THE SOUTH WHEN I AM HERE.

I AM READY TO CONTEST AND I HAVE THE CAPACITY TO PUT THIS COUNTRY ON THE RIGHT TRACK.

Politics in this country is very interesting, what many fail to understand is that as long as Nigeria will remain one, zoning cannot be over emphasis, check the history of Nigeria even during the military regime, zoning played significant role in unifying the country. Zoning is that glue holding the North and South together.

During the 2015 election, the major reason pdp failed was that he was the one contesting (South), I was in the North then and if you noticed many northern pdp governors support Buhari because it was the North turn. 1999 Obasanjo became president (South) ruled for 8 years, it was then turn of the North, Yar' adua did not need much work he became president 2007-2009, Jonathan succeeded (South), if you remember during that time, the North were angry because they have not finished there tenure, the best thing for pdp to do was to field a Northern person after Jonathan's 2 years to complete there time, 2011-2019. There will have been more peace and bokoharam won't have emerge.

Now that it is this way, pdp should not make another mistake of giving the North the presidential ticket because they will fail. I understand the delima going on in pdp, South does not have a viable candidate but they do. Jonathan Is the one they should be wooing, he has the capacity to win in pdp, after four years give it to another southerner because by that time pdp will be in form and they will win. I tell you for free if pdp brings a northerner and apc a southerner, apc will win flat.

They are pushing for Southern chairman so that the presidential candidate will emerge from the North.
