Well out of curiosity, I did last night.

Not really that I'd wanted to, just by happenstance, I did.

I pulled over, to make a quick withdrawal from a POS machine, lo and behold, a very beautiful dark skinned lady, with a large ifedi behind, immediately, I got attracted to her, her name is Belema, and it turned out she's Okrika lady from Rivers State, and everything transpired in between the short period we discussed, and we found ourselves having dinner at "Choppee" a popular sit-out in the city of Eket.

Well, discussions ensued, nothing was off the table.
But u took a particular interest on her tribe. Why? Because I've not dated any ijaw girl before, and infact I never met any ijaw girl outside Rivers State and Bayelsa. I do see Ijaw guys though.

Note I was referring to her as Ijaw, but I didn't outrightly call her Ijaw in the cause of all our discussions, until I said, WOW, I've never dated Ijaw girl before. And responded, who's Ijaw girl?.
I said but you said you're Okrika, and she said of course, and I said from all I've been reading from[b] Ijaw folks on Nairaland[/b], Okrika is Ijaw.
Belema thundered what sort of rubbish is that, Okrika is Okrika, we're not anybody. I asked her. I'd loved to invite her to Nairaland but she's currently using small phone.

Those names despite their dialectical difference and spelling are quite popular even in the farthest of Igboland. There's no Izon in Delta where you hail from that can tell us the meaning. I know Ijaws are land grabbers but it never occur to me that you’ve become culture grabbers as well. If in doubt search on Google translate or go further to Faceb,ook to get educated.

The Secretary General of the Ijaw Republic Liberation Movement, one of the closest people to General Ditari is from Okrika.
