Hi car lovers and experts.
I love my cars running quite. I do my routine car servicing as at when due. But I noticed that recently, my engine noise has increased significantly. It no longer idles quietly as before. My mechanics think they don’t notice any difference.

What do you think could be the factors of an engine noise increasing?

check your catalyst,if you leave your car unattended in a workshop the catalyst will disappear

Have you leave your car in the workshop let’s say for minimum of 2 hours ??

If yes, they might have cooked your indomie with Sausage with egg

this is what made me to sell off my previous car an Acura RL,I took it to the mech for just simple jerking and poor movement,I came back 1 hr later to meet my exhaust system on the ground and they are fiddling with it,Ah oga your exhaust is blocked,they said,ok,I went off again, little did I know they are doing open heart surgery on my exhaust and the catalyst was gone,after a few weeks of loud noise and poor fuel consumption ,I have to go to another mech the verdict?oga your catalyst don go,It was that day I know what is catalyst,I just sold off the damn car
