Young man. Hurry, go for KPMG internship! While you are there, put in more than 8hr or more hours of workday. Be the first to come to the office and be the last to leave the office. Make yourself available for all sorts of tasks and never let them see you sweat. Then again, use their system to find out about the KPMG "PhD project." Study it, know it, and try to connect your way to upwards. You a lucky bunch!

What career path do you want to follow?

What kpmg is a very good place to start your career. They offer quality training. It will boost your CV, especially if you are able to get trainings in such areas as auditing, taxations, consultancy. Make sure you build your network and eager to further your professional qualifications.

For bank marketing. I know. You are already into this. A stint at kpmg will rather boost your banking career.

If you’re doing well as a marketer and you believe in yourself that you can move up the ladder quickly in the industry, then stick to banking. I’ve seen marketers who are able to exceed targets change banks and are Managers within 6 years. On the other hand, a career with KPMG is worth giving a shot if you so decide to work hard to gain placement at the end of the internship.

My cousin quitted as a marketer at stanbic last month. He hasn't spent upto a year there.

He was always lamenting.

You don't need a soothsayer to tell you this, 1 year experience as an intern in KPMG is far better than 5 years experience as a marketer In the bank.

Please young man, don't miss the golden opportunity, the Big 4 ( KPMG, PWC, E&Y and DELLIOTT) are CV booster any where in the world, I have a friend who worked in PWC in Nigeria, he relocated to Canada, he got employed in Canada to the same PWC, Canada.
