The US and Uk always have surplus in those fields such that people have to result to home services before they can make a living..

Recently UK asked us for 3,000 nurses - I doubt many kenya nurses will take the offer.
UK will pay them 3,600usd a month
In Kenya starting salary for nurse is 1,2000usd before lots of allowance.
Why would they go to UK?

We pay our workers more than enough salaries such that those in the UK and US even want to come and work here but for the fact that we have more than enough.

The usual cheap talk. Ondigo girl basically said it all. Your salaries are SO LOW - everyone want to emigrate.
Kenya we imported doctors from Cuba - and even those Ghanians should come to kenya. We pay Cubans 8,000 dollars a month.
Proffesional in kenya make serious money - very few ever want to emigrate.
People emigrating are house maids.

kenya nurses monthly salary is hovering around 70,thousand falling shillings, how is it better than a 3000 thousand cedis per month in Ghana. For the fact that we even have more nurses to patient ratio than kenya
