Any other DM turns there but Jogginghoe chose to pass to a marked Rudiger and put him under pressure. Rudiger panicked and sent it to Mendy who was being closed down, and Mendy sent a risky pass back to Jogginghoe. All because Jogginghoe cannot turn in 5 yards of space between him and Ward-Prowse. Talk about belle-face playmaker.

First pic is ball coming to him, 2nd pic is ball at his feet. He has already taken first touch by this time and Ward-Prowse is still 5 yards away. If he received this ball on the half-turn, Ward Prowse would be even further away. The way he took his first touch back in the direction of Rudiger was just so comical.

I have hardly seen such incompetence at the half-turn in a traditional DM, talkless of a so-called playmaker. What a belle-face. Rudiger of course panicked with that kind of pass under pressure and gave it quickly to Mendy who was also being closed down and panicked into a risky pass back to Jogginghoe.

I understand what you are saying, so many people here don’t know that Jorg has poor first touch. It is not only when you can’t trap the ball that is poor first touch, when you can’t trap the ball to the direction you want to move or play to is also poor first touch. Jorginho sometimes trap twice before settling down with the ball, more like lack of confidence with controlling. This is why Thiago sylva is still playing at 37, aside his defensive positioning he is very technical and confidence with ball control, he is not the type you just rush when he is with the ball because he possess and command it. VVD too is like this.

Nor be ment be that. Sentiment na bad thing, it make someone blind to fact and logic. Havertz is neither AMF or winger, his best position is SS or false 9 and he is not even consistent at it.

Jorg is not confident with long passes too, this is why he play short passes most times, to be on a safer side . Probably it’s due to lack of muscles in his thighs, he has tiny thighs or his lack of sixth sense.

Havertz is not made for this league, except he improve his work rate and tenacity because this is what the league is all about, talent is not enough. We can still get some decent players at reasonable fees, for a quick fix.

Dunk won't be bad from Brighton and his fee won't tear our pocket. That Getafe boy as LB is still ok for me or any of Unlimited's LBs and 30 to 40m will cover that. Some decent keepers will slap their coaches to force a move to Chelsea, once that No. 1 jersey is guaranteed.

And Brighton are enjoying these 2 guys i had wanted in Chelsea, together now. Dunk and Cucurella.
