She was sentenced to 7 years (everyday is counted twice in jail) effectively, but may get off with a fine on appeal. That's not too much.

It doesn't make sense paying back except she is truly repentant. She is actually spending a maximum of 14 years whether she pays or not because the jail terms are concurrent.

I am surprise that there are many high level fraudsters women in the north like this one.
Even south does not have so many like north.

Judge said concurrently... it's 14year max...and she wouldn't have earned such loot from honest employment... within that time...so it's still her win....if she has the funds locked in something averagely profitable in that period...
