I got a call from a number saved as SPAM on trucaller, I think the company name is LCREDIT. They called a name (which I couldn't hear it was too fast) saying someone I know collected a loan from them and I should alert the debtor to pay up claiming I am a guarantor and I will be barred from financial transactions if the person doesn't pay up. First can I be a guarantor without my consent? Do these companies have the right to disturb others for someone that collects loan from them? I think the CBN and Consumer protection council should look into this. |
