Nairobi is building one of the biggest museum in Africa, mashujaa park. Nairobi has just topped out 6 GTC 43fls, 37fls, 33fls, 31fls, 30fls, 30fls modern apartments and finishing is underway.

my bru wasn't the highest building in Africa just completed a year or so ago in Sandton? Not to mention the over 20 building projects currently under construction in Sandton alone....not even mentioning the greater Joburg yet.

Kenya cement consumption is approaching 8M tonnes - South Africa is at 13M - for a country with 10m more people and twice as big as kenya.

The slight edge you have on Nairobi - is going to disappear soon. From malls, to data centers, name it - infrastructure - all of it - we are catching up.

Kenya as whole is one big construction site.

As for silly neigberhood debate - all you need is to get a map of Nairobi metro built up area - and compare to province of Gauteng - it's pretty close.

Kenya as whole is 15yrs from South Africa - Nairobi 10yrs from joburg - all this based on the current trends - where kenya is developing very fast and south africa is basically stuck,

The bone of contention was Nairobi catching up with jorburg. You just proved my previous point that jorburg is dormant. Nairobi is growing at a fast rate and thus, it will only take less than 8yrs for Nairobi to catch up & even overtake jorburg on horizontal infrastructure. In vertical, whether you're building or not, Nairobi has already catch up. And with the construction boom of skyscrapers in Nairobi, I don't see if jorburg can stand Nairobi in vertical infrastructure 5yrs to come.

My guy. You're confused. I never said mashujaa park museum will be the biggest in africa. It will be among the biggest if not the biggest - comprehend this point before coming up with another contradicting opinion. We're talking about growth rate and when they will interject. It's not about jorburg vs Nairobi. For now jorburg is ahead - in eight yrs, jorburg will be dead.

Your last paragraph rings ignorance. No one is comparing Nairobi with jorburg of today. Horizontal infrastructure which you're talking about was tackled already by me & jln115.

Tha graph isn't total greenhouse gas it is a specific chemical and the reason why they produce less is due to the more advanced catchment technology

Gays and lesbians are also human beings and most educated people don't see them as criminals. As a matter of fact, I don't mind them as long as they don't go about raping people. Yes, they deserve their rights. Whatever you do with your life is your problem.

But don't twist history especially when you have no concrete evidence that such a thing was accepted in ancient Yoruba society. Thank you.
