Now, we are just getting started. Yes, that's it. This is leading to resource control. No president will agree to resource control. You take it gradually by force. Abuja will need up collecting tax only.hahaha. see eh! The movement is to cut off oil pipe to Kaduna refinery legally. If we continue like this 5 years is too much before the president declares full 100% resource control.

By the way who will be responsible for the loans Buhari is taking. Bad loan be that. Lol. Hahahha. The south is waking up. Brain pass strength and "gragra".

Wkke don open una eyes. But na Lagos opened Wike's eyes. Hahhaha. Lagos don dey show FG since the days of Jagaban and Osinbajo. That man really showed OBJ pepper. That Osinbajo. Lol. I wont be surprised if he is the one working behind the scene. Those hausas think they can use and dump him. grin

Stop trying to deify Osinbajo Wike is the brain behind this action. Osinbajo is still toothless in the government he has no say in decisions except when they want to use him for public show like the case of trademoni

Nothing less than 50% should be d derivative, but u can't force companies where to have there headquarters, even d US r planning to build there consul in lagos instead of Abuja the FCT where dey presently use
Bros Mobil have their HQ in Houston where they have the oil. what is happening in Nigeria is a fallout of the war, when FG relocated forcefully all oil companies HQ to Lagos. when shell came to Nigeria they first started from Owerri(that is why in Owerri you have shell camp). They now relocated to PH when oil was discovered in Oloibiri

The 13% wey dem dey get, wetin they use don do?

Sometimes, I feel like Nigeria will not progress unless the oil completely dried up from our land. Oil is truly a curse, it provides free money to politicians, which completely renders them ineffective.

Once, this free flow of money to the FG, States, LGA, and politicians drys up, only those who are truly interested in Governance will run for positions in Nigeria as there will be no monetary incentives to do so any longer.

what does it matter what they do with their own stuff....??

its nobodys bussiness....
you cant say because somebody cant manage his or her stuff, you are justified to take it away....!!

na them dey choose their own leaders,if them allow only their leaders to chop most of it,then its freakin their own business....it doesnt concern anybody else....

Mtsw! Southern governors or uselesss drunkards?

The north feeds the nation, and is patient with the dominations by the minorities yet we never make such useless demands

As long as Nigeria is concerned, NORTHERNERS can never be sidelined unless you want to die of hunger.
Rice, onion, pepper, beans and more that you are consuming are from the NORTH, even the cows that become your enemies now are mostly consume by SOUTHEAST and SOUTHWEST..
I love NORTERNERS because they’re very kind & humble!!
If only the NORTHERN leaders can put their acts together and collectively focus on AGRICULTURE, the SOUTH will keep shut and know they have NORTHING.
Most countries in the Western world has NOTHING but depend on AGRICULTURE.
Sweden has no natural resources except WOOD!

50 percent derivation while The Akwa Ibom state is trying to perpetrate ethnic cleansing on Eastern Obolo & Ibeno LGAs which are the major oil producing areas in the state.

Its sad to note that Deacon Udom Emmanuel who seems to have a Christian title and suppose to be a leader to running the state as if its only ibibios that dwell there, there has not been any project or political appointments to indigenes of Eastern obolo for the past 6years Udom Emmanuel has led Akwa ibom state as governor, instead he plans on perpetuating his Ibibio LGAs of Onna (his l.g.a) and nkpat enin to become coastal states so as to benefit from the Petroleum Industry Act.

Sad one,

Every about the soth is Nonsense....from the Igbos to the Shameless yoruba xtians

Let’s not forget in a hurry that Lord Lugard once said “they” are rebellious and have no respect for authority.
But I think we should stop shifting blames here knowing all tribes have their own miscreants.

Igbo's will never accept d have bad eggs amongst them, but in d history of Nigeria there is no tribe with number of criminals like Igbo's from armed robbery,kidnappings,yahoo,419,
ipob, uncultured, foreign crimes but yet their leaders are afraid to speak cause of fear of d unknown by the miscreants youth/Hooligans

40% are in prison kanu have killed 20%. 20% are married, remaining 10% will have to manage the 70% available women.

That's too small. They should be demanding 90% and the FG should have the remaining 10%.
Other states too should get 90% of whatever resources is available in their various states.
The FG shouldn't have more than 10%.
States should be given more responsibilities though and should take over federal projects like roads etc

Southern Governors always speak emotionally with no sense...
Northern Governors always speak calmly and constitutionally.
Emotional people are getting angry always complaining bitterly and do not serve their states as expected..
What's the point of beating your chest as southern Governors when you can't apply intelligence in dealing with issues?

Southern governors have been issuing all sort of ultimatum for some months now. No one sees any qualm in them.

Nyamuri flat heads and the minority should be the last people to nake such demands because they are politically insignificant

Before I talk about 50% of oil revenues, I want to congratulate Edo state governor, Mr. Goodwin Obaseki for dressing up so professional. Next time, all the South south states governors and their staff should dress up like Governor Obaseki. The south/South people are Christians and they need not dress up like the muslims.

50% oil revenues demand for south South states is long overdue. The federal government of Nigeria has no business keeping 87 of oil money .

So my advice to south/South states is don't waste your time with fulani regimes. Head straight to UN to resolve the issue.

Just saying!

You stole 13%, even they give you guys 100% you will still loot it.

But it's ok to shout at least it will give your people someone else to blame other than your irresponsible governors.

Shey your son was the president for years but not a single significant project was started and completed in your region but that is not a problem.

Nddc and ministry of Niger Delta commission together can't commission a significant project after awarding trillions of naira contracts.

But it's ok to blame the federal government

You are such an intelligent person, God bless you. If we look inward first before blaming imaginary problem, then we will learn how to hold our own responsible before blaming outsiders. Where are all the compensation given to the local communities even employment quotas.

You dont understand it. Go amd read my past posts. Wike tried. No doubt,, he has written his name in the record of Nogeria for life. But you need to really understand how court case work. From my invdsfogation, Wike and his team worked on the cases of Lagos State Vs FG during OBJ's regime. And who handled the cases? Osinbajo. You people should try to not always jump and want to sound like you.know things. You dont just win cases like that. You look at the law guiding it, look at similarly cases, and then, strategize. As soon A Lagos state blind Riverz, I know it is all over.

Let's not allow this cause any quarrel. Paul did his, Appolos did his also.

You said Osinbajo is toothless, but we that are enjoying him know. We that are in tech tank Vod for him if Pantami is left with our e-econmy...hmmm.

What do you want the VP do? The VP is as powerful as the president makes him under our constitution. Did you even hear about Dambo during jonathan? Ngozi Iweala was more useful.and popular than him. Even Jonatha was just nobody during Yaradua. But you see Osinbajo making things happen, and you are still not happy. The man is trying, but his recent utterance annoyed me. That just it.

Anyway, I dont see Osinbajo contesting as I am a realistic person. Jagaban seems to be the one coming out,and he is the next president. We must should pray for the best for Nigeria..that's it. I am no more interested in who the president is again. I am more I terested in states taking more power away from the president until Abuja is rendered a 5% tax receiver. All states should control his resources and pay Abuja tax only. That's it. The era of mining crude oil in Bayelsa and spending it in Sokoto or Kaduna is over. Hell-Rufai should start buying crude oil for his refinery. The refinery that did not make 1 kobo profit since the day if was started. When state take over our steel in that forsaken place, Ajaokuta will start working.

Pleasex if you have no good to say, dont me tion me again.
Goodluck!

This is very impressive but could have done well to ask for more percentage. But my question is the 13 percent being received at present, what have they done with it? As per the sharing of FAAC, I would have recommended 40 federal, 35 state and 25 local government or since the state are demanding higher than the federal then it should be 40 LGA, 35 State and 25 federal so that the common man can feel the impact.

By 1914, Igbos are naked peoples now, it was the whitemen that first introduced clothings to them, when they opened eyes and see Yorubas having cultures reach on traditional titles and dresses, then they tries to create and adopt they own. The history of Igbos started with the settling of white men to organize them, 120 years back.
