Ibkhaleel01:You again . See this cowrabian . The north does not feed the nation. First of all if you are including the middle belt states like benue, kogi, kwara, taraba, plateau, adamawa.. as part of the north you must be stupid. These states ain't north. North is the NW states and NE minus taraba and adamawa. The real produces of agriculture are the middle belt states. Also no agricultural producing states feeds the nation because we all buy food. Feeding the nation, means giving everyone food for free. The south south and south east feeds the nation with her oil resources for free. The investment in your agriculture comes from oil money which is from the south. If the arewa NE and NW refuses to sell food to the south, we will not die, you will be the loser. We can buy food from else where. If the north is so fantastic, fight for regionalism and resource let's see how far you get. |

They didn't demand this during the era of HE GEJ and is that why Delta State has been behind in unemployment, IGR etc but has the bad reputation of having a past governor jailed for corruption in the UK? I am so disappointed that the governors even allowed a Commissioner of Finance from Delta State to be in the team making the demand. Delta State is one of the reasons many people will never support the balkanization of Nigeria. Delta State has gone through 4 divisions right from being in Western region to becoming Midwest and then Bendel state and now Delta! yet its not a leading state in terms of development in the SS let alone Nigeria! 50% demand is not the problem, the problem is that it will end up in bank vaults overseas! Ordinary shares in Econet, Delta State can not manage and apart from selling it in an opaque manner that ended up sending a lot of people to jail, these shares were transferred at peanuts that were still probably re-looted! Everyone in Nigeria will resist it with all their lives because the fund when stolen will end up in financing terrorism and vicious state actors by the time anticorruption agencies go after the looters. Oil revenue has actually been a curse on Delta State in particular and Nigeria in general ![]() |

Well. They are dreamers. 50% derivation will only be acceptable if it only applies to onshore oil Wells while the FG takes 100% of offshore Wells which was gotten by virtue of Nigerian land mass that every part of NIGERIA contribute to. |

I support this, this is one of the things Jonathan should have pushed for and forget 2nd term instead he was busy putting his friends in juicy position to steal and doing eyes service to the north. |

Vaughanlanrewaj:Is your state any better? Everyone in Nigeria will resist what? That a certain region is demanding a fair share of the revenue derived from their region? Sometimes, it’s better to just keep quiet. |

Kkshanana90:Sir, my state is different from your Delta State by over 100%. As a matter of fact, we bought same Econet shares and was kept with IBILE holdings, an agency of professional investment managers that handle investment for my state. My state is also oil producing and we will be unrealistic demanding 50% especially from offshore oil that doesn't belong to our state but the whole nation. Delta State is a big disgrace and I think they are just unfortunate to have selfish folks taking decision on behalf of the collective. My state grew from being the centre of bomb blast and filth in Nigeria to becoming the fifth largest economy in Africa! Before the next 10 years, we are projected to be the second largest economy in Africa after our fatherland, Nigeria! God bless my state and fatherland Nigeria. |

The oil in the nigerdelta belongs to the nigerdelta and very soon we will claim it all. You fuckers don't know the damage buhari has done with his nepotism and ethnic bigotry while you were clapping for him. Fucking parasites |

emmykk:Its why I said you are lost. You dont know it. Why was FG concerned about local govt of a state? Is it not about fund? So, you think it is just creation of local govt? Who cares about creation of more and more if fund is not involved? Is VAT not an income? When you read the details in the judgement, you will understand better. Stop showing your weakness more and more. And there are other cases too. They are called Lagos VS FG. And Osinbajo led the legal team of Lagos. They beat FG silly back to back. Obasanjo was frustrated. You dont know anything. Let other states not join the case na, and see if FG will not manipulate it. Wike can easily lose the appeal. But Lagos joining is huge. This is a signal that Jagaban no send Buahri again. Jagaban already knows Buhari's camp does not want him, and he is already penetrating again. That Kano guy is powerful. I mean Gandollar. For EFCC to do him nothing means so much. You people dont know how to read games. Northerners are already going to visit him. Jagaban knows Buhari owns NORTH East. No one contests that with him. Mind you, Bukola Saraki and Dino are gladiators who arent loyal. Lol. Dont be shocked they will deliver kogi and Kwara to Jagaban. Siddon there na. As soon as Jagaban gets Wike, Sokoto belongs to him too. So, you think Lagos will be going to war with FG again and Osinbajo will not join. You are a joke. He is the one who will lead the team again, but behind the scene. Dey sit there and dey talk. You will all be shocked how Jagaban and Wike's PDP may likely come together and fight Buhari. And do what? Buhari will lose again. He is a northern person. This has been verified again and again. You want to compare Buhari and Jagaban. Lol. You people dont know anything at all. Jagaban has been fighting. He knows when to run away...as he ran away from Abacha. And he knows when to face the battle as he faced OBJ and slammed him multiple times. He was the only SW governor OBJ could not remove. OBJ removed even the powerful man of Ogun and put Gbenga Daniel there. See eh. You no sabi anything. Who was the power of Jagaban? The man is Prof Osinbajo. You all think Fashola is his main man. Even Aregbesola who we first thought messed up las las. Lol. But that gladiator who will never betray anyone is the VP. Look at how he is playing his game with the President too. Can the President point anything to accuse him of? He has the opportunity to betray Buhari like how Atiku betrayed Obadanjo. Look at Atiku today. We should not even be talking of Atiku contesting. He should have spent his 8 years too. But he was just too ambitious and his corrupt ways killed him. Oga, you sabi nothing. Go "siddon". What else do you want to say? I will clamp your shoulders that are high. Lol. |

Gan gannnnn...! It is b coming serious between South South and FG.... But it should be 60% not 50% We shouldn't be looking the other way while the FG ( Fulani caliphate ) continue to enrich themselves while the oil producing zone languish... In fact 70% not 60% anymore |

WesternOligarch:Just as I agree with you on some of your comments,I will also defer a bit concerning our so-called useless leaders.. you see these is why the igbos don't respect the so-called leaders; they are not there for the people.THEY ARE THE REASON FOR THE UNREST IN THE SOUTH EAST!if not for the security attached to them we,would have eliminated them one by one.Lastly,we are bothered on the happenings in the east, but the gvment at the center would not allow us vent our anger against these accursed leaders. |

I don't even see why they should be demanding anything for cross river state, since their governor doesn't care about his state and its people. He doesn't go to this meeting and all that. One of the worst governors in the south south. |

Buckeyemedia1:Even if they are going to squander everything, it’s better to give it to them so there won’t be anyone else to blame if their leader mismanage it. This will also afford other states the ability to think and find a better way to generate revenue for themselves. |
