None of that is infrastructure. Basic Infrastructure. 1) Piped water 2) Sewage 3) Paved roads 4) Electricity coverage 5) Railways Secondary Infrastructure 1) Light rails 2) BRTS Tertiary Infrastructure.. 3) We can do better comparison that way, AfriqueDuZuid: |

Mkenya2019:the road network of Johannesburg with a mere size of 1600km2 is almost the same size as your entire country, the rail network is bigger in Johannesburg than your entire country, there are more stadiums in Joburg than your entire country, more malls and shopping centres than your entire country, there are 21 universities alone in Joburg, 269 schools, World class brt system, gautrain, brand new prasa passenger trains..... Must I go on? |

Abohboy:Jorburg is like old Nairobi CBD. Nairobi downtown to be precise. It's clogged with buildings that there is no room for expansion. Nairobi has expanded its link to new areas like westlands and upperhill which were previously void with few residential. Now when you see upperhill and westlands, you'll be wowed by the rate at which Nairobi is growing. We're now focusing on ngara, two rivers, South C, kilimani and the rest. What we're discussing here is not rocket science. You guys are just debunking everysh*t without internalizing what is said. |

Just30:This got me thinking , there is this africa banjul charter that Ghana recently ratify .it is a matter of human right and the protection of the people regardless. How will this law sponsored by sam george not overruling it? I agree, blocking him to access usa and the rest may signal tension. But I can categorically tell you, america has a solid human right that may really block sam george from entering the usa . It is possible . |

AfriqueDuZuid:Again. Zombie. You're not getting the point. Your puny brain is straggling to fit into this reality. Nairobi needs 8 good yrs to hit jorburg level. It's a no brainer with the rate of construction boom in Nairobi. You can shift goal posts with the entire kenya but facts will still remain. |

Keep lying to yourself. The road density in Joburg and Nairobi is I bet the same. It simply not possible for Gauteng Metro to have more roads than Nairobi Metro - or for Nairobi City to have far less roads than Joburg city. The rest too are just superficial measure - 21 universities - lol - Nairobi has nearly every kenya university campus - that would make it close to 60 universities in Nairobi. Nairobi has commutter rail - not modern light rail - but it's has functioning one - that is now doing hourly trips from all corners of the world Nairobi despite not holding world cup has sufficient sport facilities for many sports. Nairobi is getting BRT done. Name it - Nairobi is nailing it. 10-15yrs - Nairobi will look like Bangok or Jakarta - and you will be coming to visit. Once we get the few proposed super talls in upper hills - seem to have got stuck but most are being re-started - 70-80 floors- your people will be coming to see tall buildings in Nairobi, techno cities like Konza, industrial cities like tatu and northland, major social cities like two rivers, enagi, garden - and many more. You already should come to see elevated expressway. jl115: |

jl115:Jorburg as it is is what we're discussing. We're discussing jorburg. I believe Midrand and sandton are just metro close to but outside jorburg. They are just like Kiambu and rongai which we don't count. |

That is not a city my friend. Tatu city is 5000 acres. Northland city is 10,000 acres. Konza city is 5,000 acres, Ngelani city is 5,000 acres. Kenya gov housing scheme in Nairobi Portland will sit on 15,000 acres. jl115: |

No. Videos do not lie. You do not need any data to know if a city is developed or not. You just need to see on the videos. Communist countries use to fake data - but their countries were shitty looking. vaxx: |

AfriqueDuZuid:Why is this man screaming Google map everytime . Who are you scaring? Can't you just focus on defending the facts rather than empty threats. If you post ours we'll post yours. And yours is a shack that you live in. It's upon you to post yours and leave us to post post ours then let the people judge. That is how sane debate goes, okay? |

Dont waste time. This has been done for you. In videos. Watch and listen to this video - Nairobi and kenya 2005 is undergoing TREMENDOUS CHANGE - even many Nairobians are suprised by the changes going on. The entire city is one construction site. Somehow money just keep flowing. There was small lull in 2016 until 2019 - but it's BACK ON - and massive. Nairobi growth was massive in 70 and 80s - then it got into rough patch in 90s and started growing in 2005 - and now it's starting to hit all gears. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TP_-IuyK9SE&t=109s AfriqueDuZuid: |

Mkenya2019:- I already posted the links mate.... Johannesburg alone has by now over 14000kms of paved road network vs 20000kms for the entire Kenya - 21 Universities.... Not colleges and other Tertiary institutions.... If I had to list that it would be in the 100s if not 200s. - yeah and Johannesburg has the Gautrain and brand new Prasa passenger trains - Your country has like 1 30000+ stadium.... Johannesburg has 6.....and if we minus those build for the world cup it's still 6 since no new stadiums were built in Joburg only upgraded. - Nairobi is only expanding due to population growth, in terms of the quality of infrastructure as well as QOL it will forever be miles behind Johannesburg |

Mkenya2019:videos does lie and it a proven fact. Editing and miniature nature of video suggest. According to the most reliable statista will have . Ghana has been ranked ahead of kenya . This infrastructure is not just about Accra or Nairobi alone . It is about the country in general. Numbers don't lie . This is a fact . Statista say Ghana is more developed than kenya infrastructure wise .

AfriqueDuZuid:What you should be doing. Is post what jorburg is building. Start from roads all the way to commercial offices and buildings. We'll retaliate by posting ours. This cheap threat should stop once and for all. You're nothing to scare us with your low life in a shack . |

Like I said nobody count the street paved roads in Nairobi. The roads counted are main arterties - under KURA and KENHA - and now those that residents build themselves or Nairobi County gov - Just get a video of Nairobi - city - and show me unpaved roads. Unlike South Africa - In Nairobi you cannot build a house or estate without paving the road. These are private roads that are paved - that nobody count. jl115: |
